Still one of our favorite courses in the triangle even though it has a lot of what I call "bugga bugga" and I usually find a way of losing my ball in it. Check-in was easy as usual. Great practice facilities with a big overly sloped practice green next to the 9th hole and another nice green with chipping, pitching, and a sand bunker. Range is wide open with nice teeing areas of grass and lots of targets.
The course was in good shape. Over the years they have taken out many trees, which opens the course up nicely and gives better air movement. And as soon as they take a tree down, they grind the stump. Several areas where trees or other things had been removed were freshly sodded. Made for a nice appearance.
The cart paths have substantial deferred maintenance, but that is the case with most courses these days. The bunkers were in good shape but luckily only had to weather one of them. The greens were in great shape and as usual they had less break than what you would have expected. I had a great chicken wrap after the round and they offer a nice selection of beer.

It was great to be back at one of our favorite courses. Check-in was smooth and easy as usual. The practice facilities are top notch with a large (but a-little-too-much sloped practice green), a large chipping green with two bunkers, and a large grass driving range.
In the past, I've seen the ranger grab up unused range balls, which to me is unforgivable, but this time they picked up the buckets and left the balls for the next lucky golfer. The course was in great shape other than a few tees undergoing renovations. Can't wait to play again.

We played here when it was threatening rain and was on the cooler side. Despite the weather I played my best game of the season. It is a challenging 18 hole golf course. The course is in good shape and there are tricky holes. Despite the weather and the challenge, we had fun.

I went on MapQuest in order to find an address in Mill Creek. I found my friends home and discovered that she is in Orange County..not Alamance County as MOST of the residents are. She pays Orange County Taxes and City of Mebane Taxes. The county tax is HIGHER in Orange County compared to Alamance. Jane H.

Played here two conservative days and while the course has some risk and reward holes the design and layout of this golf course is delightful to play.
The course winds you through some beautiful woodlands and the fall foliage made the holes views impressive.
The Bermuda grass will make it challenging o locate your ball if you venture off the fairway, but the fairways are clean and cut perfectly so it’s up to you to get the ball onto the fast greens.
I hope to play here again real soon

Over the years they have had a lot of problems with their greens trying to make bent grass work. They now have Bermuda greens and they were perfect the day my husband and I were there. The course layout is excellent (I think it's a beautiful course) and it has a good variety of doglegs and elevation changes on almost every hole. There are a few forced carries, especially on #10 (they changed the tees to make the carry shorter from the up tees). As my husband and I were walking up to the 8th green we saw the ball mark where his ball landed but we couldn't see the ball. It was in the hole...his first hole in one on that course (130 yards using his 9 iron). I won't discuss my game since I'm just a beginner.

Hubby & I played here Monday, 8/29/16, and we loved it! This was our first time at this course. We both played the regular men's tees (white). Rate very reasonable $32.00 pp.
The staff was so friendly and very helpful. We got started about 2:45pm, and we were the only ones on the course, which was great for us! That made for a 2.5hr round. We prefer playing later in the day, b/c there are fewer people on the course, esp in this hot weather we've been having.
The Clubhouse is really nice and they seemed to have a nice selection of goods to purchase. Although, I did want a metal golf bag tag, and they don't sell those. (I collect them).
We especially loved the fact that there are virtually no houses that line the fairways. I think we saw homes on 2 maybe 3 holes, but they are set way back, and are not bothersome at all.
The layout is really nice... and the course was in great condition. Although the greens were hard and seemed 'packed,' which made them difficult to read, and they were fast. It does look like on some of the holes, additions to the cart paths were made so one doesn't have to walk down a hill to get to the green.... that's a nice touch.
We loved it and we will be back to play it again!

This is a nice golf course, but is pretty tough for seniors (not a lot of bail outs with chances for "up & downs" ). Nice clubhouse with reasonably priced food & all types of drinks. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Has a very nice driving range and practice area.

Mill Creek is always in good shape and the staff does a good job taking care of the golfers. There are four sets of tee boxes that provides a test of golf depending on your skill level. I've been playing this course since 1996 and it keeps getting better, the owners are doing it right

MC is a hidden gem in Mebane. It's designed for golfers of all ages: the tips are 7,000 yards, and the ladies are just under 5,000. Each hole is a different design, so you'll get to try many different shots throughout the round. Lots of hills, trees, and woods, so it's definitely challenging. The front 9 has no houses except for some along number 1. The back nine has houses on about half of the holes. Overall you're pretty secluded for most of the round. Guys at the pro-shop are very friendly, and it's a very low-key, laid-back atmosphere. When summer comes around and the greens are rolling especially well, you can definitely sink some putts. This course is challenging but very fun. You don't need to hit driver on every hole (unless playing the tips), so it's more of a skill course than a lengthy course.
