My team and I had a great time whitewater rafting with French Broad Adventures! Very personable guides (Jim was our guide) and lots of great information and history as we went down the very beautiful river valley.

We had a great time rafting! Beautiful scenery, a thrilling trip through class 1-3 rapids, and excellent information and dad jokes provided by our guide Pete!

First came here 3 years ago with my older daughter. Came back again with both my daughters this time. We did the half day rafting, lunch on the river and then half day zipline adventure. We loved it back then, so we came back for more! The river guide was very experienced so we all felt safe when the river got choppy. He told us some good stories about the history of the river. The riverside lunch was an efficient Subway-style assembly line and no one was hungry after we stuffed ourselves. Got to float down the river some next to the raft. We stopped at a small cliff for jumping into the river. On the bus ride there and back, the bus captain kept us laughing with jokes and stories about what we were passing on the narrow mountain roads. The two zipline guides were great, too! Gave us our ground instruction and we were zipping in no time. Felt very safe and we had some great zips. Will definitely be back! Also, I had to call a few months ago to set this trip up, as the website was not listing it as available. I was concerned I had been too late and all the slots were full, but the nice, helpful person on the phone squared us away quickly.
