I was blown away by how kind and friendly everyone we interacted with was. I cannot recommend coming skiing here enough! My husband and I had never skied before but he has snowboarded a few times. He decided to ski with me so we could learn together. I was quite nervous since I had never done anything like this before. When we go to the resort I will say I was not impressed by the lodge but as soon as we got our skis on (actually before that...) I was just immediately so impressed with the staff. We did half day lift tickets and rented equipment (we found the prices cheaper than others in the area) and since I was nervous I rented a bib and a helmet. Maybe it was the look on my face or the fact that I rented a helmet but the guy in the gear room asked if it was my first time then proceeded to give us SO MUCH HELPFUL INFORMATION!!! He just keep giving us tips and pointers about how to do things and I could not be more grateful. Then we hit the snow. We knew we would start on the bunny slopes and I thought the staff might give us a hard time since we are both adults but it was the complete opposite. I was really nervous about skiing (people at work were making jokes about broken bones...) but the staff was so nice and helpful and friendly making it easy to build confidence. We did the small bunny slope a few times, then we did the taller one twice, then we felt ready. We took the lift up to the green slopes and off we were! I want to say JP in particular was so encouraging, just always encouraging us. We came on a Monday and the slopes were, thankfully, not too full so we had plenty of space to get comfortable. After about 7 or 8 trips down the green slope we went all the way up to the top to do some blue slopes. The crew told us if we got up there and felt like it was too much we could take our skiis off and just slide down on our bottoms and I appreciated that. The views from the top were so beautiful. We decided to ski down and I feel a few times (I had not fallen at all before) but I am so glad we did it. Had we gone somewhere else and had a different experience I might have never wanted to ski again but because we came here and were so encouraged and helped by the staff I truly cannot wait for our next trip to ski and we WILL 100% COME HERE AGAIN!!!! They do have parking, hot food on site, vending machines, and facilities in the lodge FYI. Oh also JP took photos for us and offered to take a picture for everyone who went skiing so they could take home a memory. We love our pictures!

Girls trip for ladies aged 50+. First impression was not what was expected. However, Tim provided us with instructions, true hospitality, and recommendations for dinner. We grabbed a tube and had a night of fun and laughter. So much fun, other adults were claiming we made their night just by how much fun and laughter we were exhibiting. Life's short. Enjoy yourself!!

My family and I enjoyed our visit to Wolf Ridge. Since we had never been skiing or snowboarding before, we took lessons at the ski school. As a middle-age adult just learning to ski, I really appreciated our instructor, RIchard, and his measured way of teaching. After just a short while, I was able to ski down the slopes! I think this resort is a great place for beginners. The staff are friendly and helpful, and I would definitely go back again. Thanks for the fun weekend!

went with another family for the weekend-we're not expert skiers so we all appreciated the green courses that were open. The staff was super friendly to the guests. Loved the base lodge. The fireplaces were great to warm up at. The slopes were good, not too crowded. I thought the place was organized. While not the biggest place, the ski resort is perfect for beginners and intermediate skiers. Easy access from the interstate. Just follow the signs. I asked the 4 teens on our trip= all really enjoyed themselves. Would like to come back when all the slopes are open. The warm winter is tricky. The lodge was spacious with a store, food cafe and ample seating. Well maintained. We all enjoyed the experience!

1. That inner tube hill is a joke! You’d be better off whipping out a slip and slide!! It’s as long as a kids slide on a playground and I’m being generous. It’s in the middle of what reminds you of a trailer park area. You walk up a ladder to the top of it, if that’s any indication. 2. The inner tubing is in a completely different location than the ski slope area. You have to drive to it. The pictures don’t depict that. Don’t do it! Save your money.
