It had been many years ago on a school trip when I last visited Linville Caverns. I remember being fascinated by the flow rock creating stalactites and stalagmites, and the fish in the underground stream. But I recently had a chance to visit again, and...More

We really enjoyed our Tour through Linville Cavern. The stalactites were truly amazing. The tour was informative and fun. The setting with Humpback mountain in the background is magnificent.

Pros: The cave itself was neat. It has an underground river with fish and a couple of cave spiders! The formations, though small, were neat. Cons: The tour guide was lame, for lack of a better word, and not very informative. She kept apologizing for...More

We got to the caverns on a Sunday morning around 10:30 and only had to wait a few minutes for a tour. I suggest going early because by the time our tour was over there was a long line forming. There is also limited parking....More

I have been to a few caverns before. This was the smallest one but just as neat. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. The line to get in on a Saturday at noon was an hour long. The groups had a few to many people....More

Awsome features and guides. They keep groups to a minimum so all can see and hear the tour. A 20 to 30 minute walk through the cavern, awsome!

I think for the price it's a pretty cool cave. Pretty small but, it is a cave so you see all the cool stuff associated with it. The do turn the lights out at one point, but if you aren't cool with that, you can...More

If you want to see some impressive caverns go to Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky. The guides tried their best to make it interesting but quite frankly I was unimpressed and bored.

The caverns are cool (literally) and I think kids (6-12) would really like it. The tour is not long , 35 minutes about, but for the money a good deal. The guide we had told us she has worked there several years but she did...More

I saw people carrying small dogs as previously state you get into some tight spaces and at one point of the tour you are in total darkness
