If you're traveling in or near the Cherokee National Forest towards the Smoky Mountains, make a quick pit stop here at the Soco Tower and Craft Store. For fifty cents, you can climb up to the top of the tower and view the beautiful Maggie...More

Tower is only $0.50 pp to climb and is worth doing so. If you’re short on time or store is closed, there is a decent lookout point next to the store. Souvenirs inside are nice and not tacky.

I was very impressed with the tower. Views from the top are incredible, and admission was only 50 cents per person! There was a good selection of items in the craft store - t-shirts, postcards, jelly/jams, and more.

We passed this tower a couple of times before stopping, as I'd read the review that said it was closed. It was open, and certainly worth a visit. There's a gift shop stocked with the usual souvenirs, and the visit to the tower is 1USD,...More

I wanted to go up in the tower, but the place is closed and up for sale now. Sooo disappointed. These quirky little places are my favorite to visit. I'm sure it would've been an eventful stop.

50cents to walk up the tower -- well worth it for the view. The gift shop is a nice walk through as well. Saw a "for sale" sign on the place hope it stays because it is such a classic

Just on the side of Rt. 19 on the way up Soco sits a small, but noticeable tower. For small fee you can climb the stairs and look off into the nearby valley and see some of the nicest views.
