I think this is a lovely spot. Photographers will find some real possibilities here. We also enjoyed the visitors center which appears to be open seasonally

This is by far the place to go to view either a sunrise or a sunset. You are so high up that the views are spectacular.

Its a little bit of a hike to take in the full panoramic view, but well worth it. there are good viewing spots in the parking lot area, on either side, if your not up to a hike. peaceful, and breathtaking..serenity!

This time of the year I personally would not walk from the summit to the parking lot after dark. There are lots of bears around. The sunset from the west side of the parking lot is awesome!
