I came here with two of my friends for a doc & film studies class in college - Mike and Sarah are lovely, incredibly friendly, and very passionate about their animals. The animals themselves are adorable and many let you feed and pet them. I highly recommend anyone interested in learning more about llamas and alpacas to come here.
Be sure to check out the gift shop as well!

My husband, our two year old son and I had a great time visiting Alpaca farm. Upon arriving Mike and Sarah were so welcoming, the tour was very much memorable because of how passionate, informative and incredibly friendly Mike and Sarah were. The Alpacas and llamas were well cared for. What i liked most was getting up close to the animals, being able to spray water on the animals belly. We visit the gift shop they have tons of items that was made from the animals. Overall our son had a great time and we thank Mike and Sarah for their great hospitality and knowledge about each animals.

Thank you so much for your review. We enjoyed your visit very much. Your little son was so cute....especially how he was so taken with the hose....even more so than the alpacas and llamas. :-)

I visited Alpaca Dreams during the national Alpaca week. What an amazing place!!! (this is my second review as my first disappeared so I hope this review is slightly comparable) I was pleasantly greeted the moment I arrived by Sarah and Mike and that was just the start to meeting this friendly couple and learning about their animals.
Alpaca Dreams currently has 13 alpacas and 3 llamas to protect the alpacas. They are separated into a girl group and a boy group to prevent any accidents from occuring. These animals are well cared for and have a lot of land to roam around.
Both Sarah and Mike shared their stories about the animals with me and the other visitors that day. They are truly unique animals.
They have shearers from New Zealand who come each year to shear the fiber.
There is even a gift shop with the fiber from the animals so that is a fun place to look around and find those unique gifts. It is warmer than wool and so soft.
I am looking forward to visiting Alpaca Dreams again and visiting the gift shop as the socks I bought keep my feet so warm.
Remember to email or give them a call first before visiting and they will be waiting for you

We LOVE this place and have been there twice, both times with teenagers, but perfect for ALL ages. The owners, Sarah and Mike are probably the nicest people I have ever met. They patiently give private small tours of their lovely farm of alpacas and llamas and allow their visitors plenty of time to ask questions, meet the animals, pet and feed them and take pictures. My daughter's friend started crying happy tears when she got to pet llamas for the first time! They have an adorable gift shop featuring some items made from their own Alpaca's wool. We can't wait to return. We live in the Raleigh/Durham area and it is a beautiful 45ish minute drive for us. There is no charge for the visit, so we are happy to buy something to help contribute to the upkeep of their beautiful animals.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this wonderful couple and their herd of alpacas and llamas. They were so friendly and knowledgeable. The animals were amazing, sweet, curious, shy, and just wonderful. I will treasure the memories made today forever. My 3 year old son got to feed them and laughed and laughed. Cute gift shop with lots of little goodies. Mike and Sarah went above and beyond with my husband to make my birthday special. LOVED it all!

We took our three granddaughters (ages 9,6,3), and stayed about two hours. The owners are a lovely couple who truly love what they do. They give a very personalized tour, introducing each of the alpacas and llamas by name, and describing their ages and personalities. The girls fed several of the alpacas, and loved touching their fur. We had alerted the owners to the fact that it was our 3-yr olds birthday, and there was a colorful birthday banner and special treat for her! It was a wonderful visit! Even the gift shop was fun. The farm is well outside of town, so if you need food, get it first.

We had a wonderful visit with the Mike and Sarah and their great animals. We went on a cold, rainy day but received a very warm welcome. We learned a lot about the animals and were able to share some treats with them. They also have a nice gift shop to pick up a souvenir. My husband admitted that he really enjoyed the visit and it was much better than he was expecting. Who doesn't love an alpaca? They're so Cute!

I traveled to Alpaca Dreams from Holly Springs with three friends last week to surprise our friend for her birthday. It was a lovely ride to Louisburg. Sarah and Mike are gracious, kind, friendly caretakers of their Alpacas and Lamas. They had a Happy birthday sign for our friend and even had prepared a special note from the animals to mark her special day. We were given a delightful tour and had all our questions answered as we spent a few hours on their lovely farm. It was educational and fun. The gift shop has many wonderful items from apparel to note cards. Some items are made by Sarah herself. I bought a very special alpaca wool hat for my new grand baby. It is so soft and will be nice and warm for the November birth. I don't know the sex yet so Sarah made a flower for it that I will attach if it is a girl. I can't wait for a future trip where i will bring my grand children, but our foursome of 50ish friends had a delightful time. The farm definitely appeals to all ages! You will thoroughly enjoy yourself.
