While the falls are definitely worth a visit, know that the trails can be a challenge. The green trails are easier than the red trails. Though both can be hard if you’re not in shape.

Great spot for a hike to some stunning scenery. This place is beautiful and free! Great way to spend a few hours. They even have a few areas where you can enjoy a picnic lunch with your family!

These falls are a moderate hike in level but about a 3 mile round trip from the parking lot. You get a nice view of the upper falls and after a hike up a far but breathtaking view of the lower falls.

Great fun and not too busy for us when we had a hike to the falls. A must do when visiting this Blue Ridge Parkway area. Definitely requires the right footwear to prevent slipping.

This waterfall has an amazing view with an easy walk in to the falls; our two year old made the walk. Very friendly park rangers at the store, and fair pricing on their items.
