It's easy to see why locals bring their kids here on a warm summer day. It's a lovely little getaway with nice shops and a great ice cream place. It's a great place to spend the summer days.

The Lake Lure Beach and water park is a great place to visit when the weather is hot. Staff and Life Guards are very friendly.

Real fun for the kids and adults as well. A nice way to spend a summer day for the whole family. If you are in the area stop by and cool off.

Heard Marina boat tours, beach & kayak rentals have same owners. We opted first for hour kayak rentals: one double & two singles and explored the lake & views! (Totally great) Then, 11 & 13 year old boys & one parent paid for beach use....More

This was the first time that my husband and I have been to Lake Lure in the Summer. Other times that we came here, the beach was deserted. On this occasion, many families were taking advantage of perfect weather. But getting a parking spot might...More

It cost $49 I think for my husband and I and 3 kids. It’s pricier than another beach we visited, but we stayed 4 hours and the kids had a blast, so it was worth it. The 2 water slides were fast and fun. There...More
