We walked the pier twice with the kids, it is huge! The view is gorgeous! They have ice cream in the shop and the people there are very kind. You can buy a fishing license from here also.

Had a wonderful girls reunion here. The veach was clean, not too crowded but felt comfortably active. The pier gave amazing views.

Love this beach. Love the people. Love the pier. Loved where we stayed. Would be great if they had more restaurant to choose from or improve the ones they do have.

Kure Beach Pier is beyond breath taking at sun set and when the lights shine brightly over the waves at night. I loved going out and walking across the boardwalk, seeing the fisherman fishing and the giant pelican bird chilling on the board walk. There...More

Great view of the ocean. Gift shop full of much needed items and awesome gifts at a fair price. They also have a game room for the kids. Delicious ice cream.

You go to a fishing pier and expect to find fisherman and tourists. Instead we found a super cool pelican chilling with the fisherman waiting for their next catch! My 10 year old daughter was stunned! The bird just hung out and then walked to...More

While strolling the pier, we got to speak with several life-time fishermen/women. One of them had a bag of chips and was hand feeding a pelican he had named "Petie"...What fun!

We did not go to the pier, just Kure Beach. Beautiful beach. Great to bring a couple of chairs and a picnic lunch. Enjoyed just relaxing and watching the waves. I would not swim here as there is very little parking, no restrooms, or showers....More

Their store had just about anything and everything so I imagine they had chairs and umbrellas. Extremely nice people so if they don't have them they will point you in the right direction.

They have some things like that at the pier but you will be better served at a big box store before you get on the island. The pier shop has cool trinkets and souvenirs and fishing stuff
