Great place to visit! Nice gift store and delicious hand dipped ice cream! Amy waited on us and gave a warm friendly welcome, with her recommendations for our stay in Kure Beach. We are looking forward to our next visit back!

Just like any other pier - you walk out, see the ocean, people are fishing. I think most piers are beautiful and this is no exception but there is not anything that makes this one more exceptional than any other pier.

I am glad this did not cost anything. It looks like the last time this place was updated was when it was built. The pier was packed with people fishing therefore there was little room to look over the edge. It was also dirty, it needs a good scrubbing. The shop you have to walk through to get on the... More

This is an overall pretty good pier although overcrowded with people who are drinking you get a good overall view of the ocean.

I have never been on a fishing pier like this. I took my son out to the end. You have to walk through a little souvenir shop, fishing shop, arcade, etc. on your way out. Good luck getting a kid past that without spending a dime! They have everything you could need though. It's free to walk out on the... More

Tradition old pier experience...however there is quite the trinket shop indoors as you walk through the shop to get on the pier. Throwback to days when the arcade and the pier were the place to go when you were a kid and pops wanted to fish all day. Pinball machines, video arcades, ice cream, cold drinks, and lots of useless... More

If you just want to walk out on the pier to get an awesome view, or if you want to fish like my hubby and boys did. It was awesome. plenty of room.

While on the peer a man asked: Did you go to the Trump rally? : / Several anti-Clinton graffiti notes scrawled on peer: "Hillary for Prison" and "Crooked Hillary." So you knew it was election season in NC. Aside from this minor inconvenience, this pier is wonderful. Free to walk out on the peer ($5 to fish), and we sat... More

We took our son's to the Kure Beach Pier so they could see the people fishing and it did not disappoint. Everyone fishing was really nice and friendly. They answered all my boy's questions and showed what they caught and even let them throw back the small ones. It has a shop where you can get snacks, bait, tackle, and... More
