Private course...don't worry about it! You can play! Had an afternoon tee time $39. Most of the players I met were not members. Great Ellis Maples layout with a fair amount of water in play . Fairways were immaculate and the bent grass greens were fast and true. There was subtle contour on all the greens that was obviously overlooked... More

This course is the finest I have played on the Outer Banks. The greens are well kept and professional quality. There are 5 sets or rated tees. The mens forward us short,b but the back and standard are can be a challenge. Water, water everywhere and mst of the greens are well protected.

This course has a lot of character. I would play this course again. I played two rounds over the Labor Day weekend (Sunday/Monday) and we played the rounds in under 4 hours. Played the blue tees (6100+) and the course requires you to think about your shots. I can hit my drive 250 yds +, but there are holes that... More

My family and I both dined at the club and played golf the following day and we have had a terrific experience. The staff is more than accommodating, the food is terrific, and the golf course is in great shape. We have visited the club during our last two visits to the Outer Banks and it is a highlight of... We had a great day at Duck Woods Country Club. The course was in really good shape. The price's for rounds is very reasonable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This facility is great for tourist with relaxing pace. We were on a 2 hour turn even though they were busy.

We played during a wedding weekend. Great course and the par 5's and 4's arent too long which is more enjoyable. The course is very well kept. It is challenging with all the water everywhere. The carts dont come with any descriptions or maps of the holes so good luck if it's your first time.

We played the course in it's winter brown and I would love to go back when it greens up. There is lots of water but it plays very fair. The greens are very fast and a challenge to read unless you look from both sides. Nice bar and the staff of both the course and bar are very helpful. I... More

Idefintely enjoyed my round at Duck Woods Country Club. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The course is flat an has a lot of water. It isn't long so with a little accuracy you can shoot a good score. In March the grass was still dormant but the greens were in excellent shape.I would definitely play here again.

Two of us played Duck Woods on New Years Eve. Although the fairways grass was brown, the bent grass greens were in very good condition. The Club's agronomist really knows how to manage the turf in all seasons.

In addition to the great club house, exercise room, pro shop and friendly staff, the kitchen puts out some great dishes. There is always something new on the menu. You can choose from formal to casual dining overlooking the challenging golf course. Always pleasant on the eye. The staff there will take care of you like you are a king... More
