Parking was free when I visited. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ballpark has a broad concourse behind the seating area. It has concession stands, a team store, and a play area. The seats are mostly plastic theater style except down toward left field which are aluminum benches. There is good roofing to yield weather protection from both the sun and rain. The scoreboard and the message board are beyond right field. There is a nice woodsy view beyond the outfield fences. Sight lines are pretty good; however, I managed to have a seat immediately behind a post which was annoying. The public address system worked well.
Warning for men: be careful you do not walk into the "HEN's" restroom.

I visited Kinston in May on a stopover between the OBX and Blue Ridge Mountains, and I am glad I did! This is a very nice stadium - lots of parking close (beware foul balls), decent bathrooms, and not a bad seat in the house! I love Minor League baseball compared to its Major League big brother... tickets are cheap, there's plenty of room to spread out, the seats are actually almost comfortable, the ushers are friendly, the atmosphere is just more relaxed and pleasant. I took in a game for 1/3 the price of a major league game - can't go wrong! I would recommend buying reserved seating though, so you are under the roof if it rains or to get out of the sun.

I talked my family into driving 60 miles while on vacation to take in a mid week game. Everyone had a blast. Tickets were cheap and the seats were comfortable. The mascot was entertaining, and the baseball was good too. Well worth the drive.

Great venue for minor league baseball. For years I enjoyed going to see the Kinston Indians play there before the team moved to Zebulon.
A few observations about my first trip to see the Wood Ducks play.
1. The concession prices are out of sight. This is a minor league team and their concession prices are on the level of a MLB team.
2. My wife got injured a few months ago so we had to use handicapped seating. The seating was along the first base line beyond the mesh screening. Needless to say not a good idea to put handicapped seating in an area prone to get foul balls. If you do choose to go an sit in the handicapped seating section then carry a BB glove with you and keep your head up for the line drives are a coming.
As far as the food goes, I think we will eat at a local restaurant before the game in the future.
Hopefully the Wood Duck PR/Advertising folks read this review.

hot dogs, peanuts and cracker jacks plus many other items to have you catch up to the mostly overweight fans. Seats close to the action and no tv commercials to stretch out the games. the souvenir shop is poorly organized leading to an hour or so wait to buy something. But overall an enjoyable evening. All employees very friendly and helpful.

Historic baseball stadium completely updated for the 2017 season and the new home team, the East Carolina Wood Duck. Totally excited to have a home team in Kinston after five or so years of no regular baseball! The stadium is clean, fresh, comfortable and offers plenty of free parking, large and very clean restrooms, seating, food venues and a gift shop! Excellent view from any seat or sideline. Tickets average $5 for general admission. Senior/Student and Military discounts available. Some Friday night home games have a fireworks show at the end of the game. A must see!

The Stadium is over 75 years old, so it shows it. There are not the modern bells and whistles from newer stadiums. But, there is free parking, cheap tickets and all of the ballpark food you would expect.

This is a very nice minoreague stadium for a single A baseball team. Solid concessions and comfortable seating. Tickets are reasonably priced and parking is free. We had a great time at the field.
