Took my wife to the game. There are no bad seats in this stadium and concessions are reasonably priced.

Took in a Wood Ducks aka The Woodies. Fun stuff. These guys aren't Major league but truly play for the love of the game ( not the money obviously). Seriously watched some good plays. Opening ball thrown by Adrienne Howard who obviously had a thrill just getting it over the plate. Rained out in the end but still a great time.

A Great venue for Minor League Baseball. Grainger Stadium is home to The High A Minor League Affiliate for The Texas Rangers, The Down East Wood Ducks. The Wood Ducks are in The Southern Division of The Carolina League. Parking is very accessible and there is no charge. Not a Bad Seat in the house. The box seat area has fold up seat right down on field level. The evening we attended the game our party sat in the covered reserved section.A perk to that area are the large ceiling fans that keep the covered area comfortable. Prices for tickets as well as concessions are decent. The Wood Duck staff provides different between inning promotions and many give aways for the fans in attendence. Since the Down East Wood Ducks joined the Carolina League a lot of renovations have made Grainger a nicer place for fans to enjoy "America's Pasttime". The picnic pavalion off the right field area is a great gathering place. Many opportunities for foul balls for "souvenirs". If you are a resident of the area or just a traveler on vacation and the Down East Wood Ducks are in town Historic Grainger Stadium is where you should be!

We visited Grainger Stadium for an incredible game!! The Wood Ducks slaughtered the other team. For just a $7.00 entry fee, watching the game was worth every penny and then some! We also charged our electric car while we watched the game right in their parking lot FOR FREE!! Grainger stadium is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon!
