My wife and I took our 3 year old grandson to Village Park today. We rode the train 4 times and the carousel once. He loved the playground areas as well. This is a great park, the prices are reasonable and the staff are all very nice and helpful. We can’t wait to return in a few weeks. This is a favorite when we are in the area.

This is the nicest park in the area. They have a really great playground. They also have a train that you can ride for only $1 a person. There is also a splash pad area that my kids absolutely love, which is also $1 for the kids. (adults don't have to pay) with a small concession stand.

Gorgeous grounds, a train that Adults can ride with the children. A magnificent double decker antique Carousel for all to ride and throw in a large splash pad for water fun! Accompany that with Restrooms and picnic areas and you have a day of fun for all.

Kannapolis has something to be very proud of with this park. We recently visited for the first time for one of the free summer concerts. The park is super clean and very well maintained. There are a number of activities available - splash pad, train ride, carousel, playground - but they are spaced out so that it doesn't feel cramped. Plenty of room to roam and run. With the concert it became fairly crowded, with limited parking available at the park itself. Having the pedestrian tunnel under the main road was also a bonus. No one likes crossing a busy road with children, especially after dark. Whether you are looking for a place to play, picnic or listen to music, you will not be disappointed here.

There is always something going on at Village Park, Kannapolis, NC. The park has concerts, festivals, and activities for the whole family. The newest attraction is the indoor merry go round, which has two levels !! They also have the train ride around the park and a fun place to come.

We took the kids here for a day trip and they had a fantastic day. They played on the splash pad for 2 hours. After that we did the train ride and double decker merry go round. Bring a change of clothes because you can't go on train or merry go round in wet clothes. Prices are very reasonable, 1.50 per ticket. They also played on the 2 playgrounds.
There is a great field for outdoor concerts. They were setting up for an event while we were there.

We had our Daughters 3rd birthday party here. We rented a shelter and the kids and moms played in the splash pad while the dads cooked hot dogs on the grill at the shelter. We ate, did presents, had cake and ice cream and then the kids all rode the train and finally played at the park for a little while. The staff at the park was very helpful even providing a Gator to help transport everything from the car to the shelter. Recommend to all!!!

not sure of the official rule, but I have taken my dog and have seen plenty of others. I think as long as they are on a lease and well behaved, no problem

There are no indoor facilities. There are outdoor shelters and there is an Amphitheater with a large grassy area in front of the stage.
