We booked a tubing float as part of a graduation celebration/girls’ trip. All of the people in our bus complied with the mask requirement, and we were grateful that they did. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the beautiful river and would highly recommend the trip if you are able to comply with the mask requirement. If you are not able to comply, please do not go and ruin it for others. It is not a long bus ride, and you can freely breathe the clean mountain air your entire time on the river.

We booked a 5 mile kayak trip for a group of 7. Booking was painless with a couple emails answering questions I had. Questions were quickly answered. We booked a 1100 start time on a Saturday and we arrived about an hour early. Lots of activity going on already. Check-in was pretty smooth but slightly unorganized (no problem). The float trip was good and relaxing and took about 2 hrs. When we got out and hauled the kayaks to the loading area a van was loading up some of the previous arrivals. This was really my only complaint. 3 of our group got on the first van, 2 got on the next van and the last 2 got on a van over an hour later. Still a good time and would do again.

We took the 2 hour, 5 mile kayak trip. It was fun and scenic for my buddy and me. We had originally made reservations for the tubing option, but when we showed up for the 2pm slot, we were told it would be upwards of a 2 hour wait. People were standing around everywhere outside waiting for their name to get called and get in the shuttle upriver. I got more than a little frustrated and wary we would not be making a trip down the river. Luckily an employee noticed me and my friend and said he still had kayaks available and the kayak put in was right there on site. We paid the upcharge and proceeded to enjoy our ride. They are also cool with bringing adult beverages in a cooler.

We've been kayaking with Zaloo's for over 5 years now. We book a trip for 9-15 adults each summer, and rotate between their 5 mile and 10 mile trips. Zaloo's is great about getting us out on the water on time, we rarely have to wait long for a shuttle (when we're on time for our pick-up) and they're very flexible with scheduling. We love going every summer and look forward to this trip each year! With the convenience of their online scheduling and having moved their waivers online, we no longer have to try to catch them on the phone anymore to book nor do we wait long when planning to get into the water. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. Overall, Zaloo's is great and easy to get to- especially great for beginner kayakers since the water is so shallow and the limited rocks are easy to navigate

This place is fantastic! We visited on a Monday and enjoyed tubing with then so much that we returned on Wednesday to do it again. They were friendly and provided everything that we needed. The tubes were good quality and they also have tubes to hold coolers. I highly recommend!

We went tubing with Zaloo's Canoes, Kayaks, and Tubes on Labor Day, 2020. Booking online was fast and easy, and the river was about what you'd expect: easy flowing, not too many rapids or places to get stuck, a few places to get out and play around.

However, the company was clearly not prepared for the volume of people that were there that day. Even though we booked our appointment at 1 pm and arrived prior to our appointment time, we had to wait for an additional 45 minutes just to get on the shuttle to head to the start. Once we got on the shuttle, everything was fine, but I don't see the point of making an appointment for a specific time if it just ends up being first come, first serve anyways. We will not be back.

The North Forth of the New river is way to shallow to kayak or canoe enjoyably. You will get stuck repeatedly. The river is 6 inches or less deep for most of the 10 mile trip. For $50 a person it is greatly over priced.. Do the South Fork for a better day on the river. It is deeper and faster. And cheaper!!

This was so much fun!! we had a blast. We did the 2 hour float that we tied up to each other and also rented a cooler float. The shuttle was good and the drop off was good.
Suggestions: Wear water shoes the river rocks can be sharp if you want to get off the float.
Bring sunblock we seen so many people who were burned on the front side.

Had a fantastic time river tubing with friends. The scenery is beautiful! The river is lazy mostly but we had to use the paddle in some areas and in others there is a small current. Staff was friendly. We went early and it wasn’t crowded at all but was crowded when we got back. Would absolutely do it again!

The trip up the river was enjoyable, the tubes are good quality and comfortable.. There were six of us, four adults and two kids (12 and 14). The two hour trip took about two hours and a half. We are locals and wanted to take family for the experience although this is the first time we have used Zaloos. Our two issues arose at the start and at the end. Years ago when tubing or kayaking, a staff person always assisted in getting us into the tubes/kayaks. Yesterday, our driver got the tubes out of the truck, waved goodbye, and drove off. We had to negotiate getting into the tubes on our own. When returning to Zaloo’s, there was no one on the bank to help and assist in getting us back on shore. We struggled A LOT. This is perhaps a staffing issue which exists everywhere right now, but I would alert anyone who is planning to use Zaloo’s that you will be basically on your own from beginning to the end. Oh, one other tip—pay the extra for paddles. You won’t regret it.
