Great staff, unique animals and nice walk on a breezy day! We were welcome with a smile and I was quite refreshing after driving for about a hour to get there!

This is a small zoo but the owners are friendly and the location isn't too far out of town. It costs about $20/per person to enter but our toddler enjoyed it

I have visited the Lynnwood Park Zoo dozens of times over the years and it is by far one of the funnest zoos the I have ever been to. I have been to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia, SC, the NC Zoo in Asheboro, NC, and the zoo in Knoxville, TN, but the Lynnwood Park Zoo strangely is my favorite.... More

When you drive up to the facility it does not look impressive, But give it a try. There are a variety of animals there and the kids had a great time. What set this zoo apart from others was the kind gentleman who was working, Gary. His knowledge of the wildlife and enthusiasm was wonderful. He easily related to my... More

We went here on a Saturday in July 2016. It's a strange location, right in the middle of a residential street! It appears to be in someone's back yard. The staff are very friendly, and my kids enjoyed holding a few snakes, a skink and petting tortoises. The monkey enclosures were a little small for my liking and the fox... More

It's small but everyone that works and volunteers there does it because they love being there and love the animals. My daughters got a chance to dance with a cockatoo when a volunteer told us he'd dance if we played music, and they got to pet some animals that get all kinds of attention. The whole zoo is in the... The zoo has a variety of animals, and the layout is well organized. Children can get close to the animals, and they even offer up close touch encounters. It is clean and well kept.

It was a smaller zoo yet we still spent about 2.5 hours there. The exhibits were small and it wasnt the lions tigers and bears you are used to seeing, however these smaller and more gentle animals allowed for petting and feeding. The employees were vere enthusiatic and knowledgeable. We had a good time!
