First time playing at Cascades in Jackson and I have to say I loved it! From the minute I got there to the time I left very impressed with this course and the staff. For being a public or Municipal curse it was in great shape! I have played courses that cost more and are not in nearly as good of shape. You can tell they put a lot of time and care into the maintenance of this course. The staff members were very friendly and even the maintenance crew would stop if I was in the middle of a shot or just to say a quick "Hi!". Nothing real flat about the course. Lots of elevation changes, some water and hazards come into play. The fairways were in great shape and the greens were fast! A good number of the holes were tree lined and if you missed the fairway (like me) then you were having to really think about your next shot. The only negative I could find is the cart paths were on the rough side but that did not take away from the golf course itself! Over all I can't say enough about this course except I will be back again soon! Thank you to all of the staff for a great experience! Well done!

Bring your big boy sticks. Back to back par 5s on hole one and two. Great greens. It handles all types of players. Bring your smartphone for distance. New carts have USB chargers but not GPS. Nice patio with cheap cold beer. Ask if Jerry Carney is behind the counter. What a hoot. You should enjoy a relative cheap round of golf. Tip- men hit to right green on eleven. And,,, watch out for 17 green. And,,, number 8. Good luck. Enjoy one of many Jactown great courses.

Read some Google reviews, some good some bad; mostly bad about the service or phone call. I went last weekend (Labor Day) and it was in great shape. I'm about a 9-10 handicap and have played some nice courses all over the country. This was laid out nicely, some difficult holes including long par 5's and lay-up shots off the tee, and some shorter par 3's to get your score back down! Carts are like new, chipping and putting greens are in mint condition. Clubhouse has basics and I didn't stay for any food other than snacks (not sure what they serve, if anything, from a menu). At the price they charge you should golf here.....
