Great place for small kids. Weather permitting they conduct some great outdoor activities. Story time was our high light. They have a discounted admission fees for care givers.

This is a wonderful interactive children's museum. Great for infants to about 2nd grade. Lots of interactive activities and experiences. Highly recommended. Also on a bus line and discounted rates for those on limited income.

It was fairly crowded on a Saturday in August. I would guess that a weekday might be better.

Yes! We have brought food inside many times. When you first walk in there is a room to the left that has several tables where you can occasionally find families eating packed snacks and lunches.
