My wife and I heard about this collection, with several Cycladian figurines, so we wanted to visit while we were in Apeiranthos. At first, we were not sure about the value for money as it is just one room. However, we wound up spending ~45 minutes looking at their eclectic pieces over and over again. Of particular interest were the broken figurines and the two small Bronze Age (or Stone Age?) slabs of pectographs from the Korfari area along the southern coast of Naxos, near Panermos. One of them depicts some sort of tribal dancing, while the other is a hunting scene with a humanoid figure standing next to a stag.

You should visit and enjoy the exhibitions, the history, and the sweet village! It's like the time stopped!

It's worth a visit even though it's only one room. The displays are interesting - particularly the stone scratched images.

Thanks to Argiro for explaining everything about geology and Smirida. Really nice museum.
The other 3 museums really worth visiting. You can visit them all with 3 euros per adult. Kids below 12 get in for free.

Don't judge it by its size. It's full of ancient pieces found in the island. Easily accessible by anyone. If you combine it with a walk through the village and a visit to Moutsouna beach, you'll have a day full of experiences.
