This is a nice lake park with nearly a 2 mile trail around the park.

The trail is all mulch and very even no rocks, no roots etc and is ideal for a stroller. The trail includes numerous informational signs and benches to rest in. You will see ducks and turtles while in the trail as it encircles the lake.

There are clean restrooms near the parking lot. Most of the trail is shaded and is suitable for anyone most of it is flat. There are a couple hilly areas but nothing strenuous.

Overall a really nice park for walking.

Enjoyable 1.9 mile hike on mulch covered path that hugs the lake all but the last .25 miles. Well maintained. Lots of people fishing but not very crowded with walkers or runners. Dog friendly as well.

54-acre lake with walking / jogging mulch covered trails.

This is a beautiful place for a walk or to fish or to just sit on the deck in a nice big rocking chair overlooking the water. The deck is outside the conference center.

The trails are covered in mulch and are so much better than they used to be. They are flat(ish) by which I mean they no longer slope down on each side so there is more path to walk on making the path wider.

Most of the trail is nice and shaded. There are some hilly parts. You will see walkers, joggers, dog walkers, and a few bike riders. 2 days ago while walking in the morning in the hilly part by the smaller parking lot I came across two deer. What a beautiful sight.

There are two parking lots plus overflow parking across the road. Both parking lots have restrooms. The bigger parking lot by the conference center has recently been upgraded. The second parking lot is up the road a bit from the main facility and is smaller. There is a secluded picnic shelter there with two charcoal grills.

The conference center can be rented for parties, conferences, etc.
You can rent canoes, jonboats and Gheenoe boats.

Bass Lake is more of a quiet, peaceful retreat kind of space for me than a "park". This is one of the most peaceful places to go in the area. Even when there are other people there, you still do not feel like it's overcrowded or loud. I love to go and sit on the porch on one of their rocking chairs looking out over the beautiful lake and just have a sense of calm and relaxation come over me. It works every single time. There are also nice benches and places to sit to bring a snack. The trail around the lake is an awesome walk and all in all, this is just a wonderful area.

This is what geocaching is all about! Us Canadians were drawn to the area by the very highly rated caches around the park and lake. What a beautiful park, loved the pristine lake and nature. The flora and fauna of the area is bountiful, will handy plaques explaining and identifying plants and trees. The pavilion is manned by cheerful and helpful staff.
We had a terrific, unexpected adventure, and look forward to a return visit.

I had my wedding there, so Bass Lake has always a special place in my heart.
Besides this I love to walk my dogs there and they love to be there. Not sure if they finished the round loop or not.

It’s hard to have a bad day when you go to Bass Lake for a walk or run. The beauty is all around no matter the time of the year. One of my favorite places to enjoy the park.

I live in the area and frequently find myself driving about 20 minutes to go to Bass Lake just to walk the parameter of the lake, and then go back to watch the residents fish. The lake itself is manmade and not huge, but it is charming. Check out the rocking chairs on the veranda, grab a boat for a ride on the lake, or just throw in a line and see if you can snag one of those catfish. Fun, easygoing, Bass Lake.

Great trails for strolling with family or walking or running for fitness. Want a serene place to meditate and fish, Bass Lake Is waiting! Great place for a wedding reception or other event. Beautiful view from the open decking and veranda. Snack bar and small museum. Check their website for hours.
