Easy walk on a paved path. Good for bikes and running. Shady areas so you are not in the hot sun. Plenty of trees and wildflowers. A great family activity for some exercise and fresh air.

It is super cute walk which I have done a thousand times, but the coolest is that we once saw a beaver and a snake!

This is a great place to go for a brisk walk while enjoying nature, highly recommend. Part is paved and part is dirt. It runs along the Eno River and you get to see the rear of some beautiful houses. We walked from Gold Park (which has a great play ground for kids) to the old Orange County Speedway and back. This is Olson a very dog friendly area.

If you are in the Hillsborough area, park in the free public parking structure and take the river walk. This is a gorgeous easy walk along the Eno river. The path is level and well maintained. You do not need special clothing to take this walk. A great way to break up your visit to the historic Hillsborough area.
