There are numerous antique and vintage shops in this area. Prices vary at each shop, and you always find a friendly face to greet you. If you are interested in having your own selling booth, stop in at Daniel Boone Trading shop. You will find local artisan work there, too. It's a great stop to take a break while traveling... More

The potential of this site is great, but the buildings are in rough shape. The road through the area was confusing. At one end it's fine, the other end it is not clearly marked, rough, and very curvy. The shopping was disappointing unless you love antiques. With a couple of exceptions, it's not worth the visit.

The pioneer-style village is right off the interstate so it's easy to get to. Just look for the giant man. There are shops for antiques, art and framing, home accessories, clothing, home improvement, real estate office, needlework shops, a restaurant, a working blacksmiths shop, building of antique vehicles, and a large convention center and much more. We visit the antique... More
