My wife and I were the only two for the tour. Our guide was delightful and very informative. Our picnic on the grounds was solitary except for the song birds.

My husband and I visited Ayr Mount on a whim and are so glad that we did. While waiting for the house tour (at 11am and 2pm almost every day), we rocked in the rocking chairs and enjoyed the rolling hills of Hillsborough. We strolled...More

We really enjoyed our walk on the Nature trail along the Eno River and even spotted a snake. We didn't allow enough time to tour the house but we will.return to do that soon.

We enjoyed the beautiful home and grounds. The history of the family and the home were very interesting. Our tour guide was exceptional. We had the opportunity to ask questions in each room. We would definitely recommend this tour!

I did not go into the house, but did enjoy an easy walk through the fields and woods and along the river. It's a mile circle - a great place to walk your dog (on a leash, of course).

There is a nice walking trail. It is not flat but it does go by the eno river and the old trading path. The grounds and house are lovely and I attended a friend's wedding with this as a backdrop one time
