This was an absolutely amazing modernization of the classic morality play, starring Academy Award nominated Chiwetel Ejiofor! I was able to sit in comfort next to two teenagers and watch a performance from the National Theatre of London in High Definition on a large screen with excellent sound quality . . . . in the tiny town of Highlands, NC!

One of the best small theaters in America for certain. Everything from National Theatre, to bluegrass, to comedy, to a great drama, This town has it all and the Performing Arts Center is the jewel of the town.

Saw a performance of "Hamlet" performed in London starring Benedict Cumberbatch. It was an excellent way to enjoy theatre without having to travel to New York City or London!!

Have been here twice while in NC visiting my in laws. Most recently saw "The Game's Afoot" and it was delightful. I will definitely return in the future!

We love going here when we are in town. Top notch quality actors for a town this size that shares two playhouses! And reasonable prices. We were able to get front row seats on a week's notice for a Sunday matinee!
A couple years ago we took a group of out of town visitors, and they had a great time. Today was a comedy that had the whole audience in belly laughs.
There is an intermission with drinks available. This is a non-profit group intent on giving get their best to entertain and delight. They did. Keep up the great work. I only wish you were in Tampa, too!

What is your seating capacity? Can you do Shakespeare in-the-round?
