Following paved walkways from the parking area, you can walk directly underneath the tumbling 75-foot waterfall.

This is a really cool, quick stop on your way to Highlands, NC. We did not have time to go down the stairs to bottom of the falls, but it looks really cool. You can walk behind the falls too

Nice stroll in a natural setting. Some steps and slopes that take you down under the falls. No admission cost. Bring your camera and a picnic if you have time. Short drive to Highlands.

Beautiful and very neat to walk under a water fall. Only takes a few minutes to walk the entire path, so don't expect to spend a lot of time here. A nice quick stop though.

Everyone who goes to Highlands needs to go see this beautiful water fall. The state of North Carolina has done a great job making a very easy walkable path down below the falls. Have fun!

This time of year with the leaves changing color, it was a great easy roadside stop, accessible for most anyone.

We had a great time visiting this waterfall. The walk was easy and it was so much fun to walk behind the waterfall, so invigorating. Would definitely recommend and would definitely do again if in the area.

My wife and I stopped by to see the Dry Falls on a recent trip to Highlands. Obviously, the name is a misnomer - there is nothing dry about these falls. But this is one beautiful site. It is fairly easy to get to. There...More

Not the steps down as this is mountainous terrain. But, all the pictures I posted were taken from the main walkway.
