Easy, beautiful hike

This is an easy hike that all ages and ability levels can do! The distance is short and the views are fantastic. If you haven't done this hike around Highlands, you should!

We took the loop hike. We walked up gravel path for 1 mile to summit Wow. Views are worth the effort. From the top take the path to the right for the hiking portion back down. There are several summit views from this trail that are beautiful

My husband and I enjoyed this hike, we are active 70 year olds and there are a few spots of climbing on rocks and climbing off of them. I would not have liked this without a walking stick on some of the steeper climbs and to ground myself negotiating around the rocks. I think its a couple of miles and... More

Only about an hour and half long and the views at the top are amazing! Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter, it's always nice.

There are two options to get up and down the mountain. One is bit more strenuous (my preference) and has more boulders and steep steps. The other is more paved and has lots of small rocks but isn't hard on the knees. We took the hard way up and easy way down. The views are breathtaking! There are multiple places... More

I had read about this hike and knew when we got there that we would take the gravel trail on the left up the mountain. Good choice! It was an easy hike. We stopped all along the way taking in the beautiful views. It was a cloudy day and we got some sprinkling rain along the way, but the views... More

A good family experience. Must be able to walk up and down steps. Not for the handicapped. Get there early in the summer on weekends. Limited parking. Carry a water bottle. Restrooms in parking lot smell really bad.

Don't miss one of our best hikes with views. Take time for this walk. We have passed fit hikers in their 80s here. The incline is somewhat steep but the footing is very easy if you go up and back using the wide path to the left. Take time to stroll as far as you can along the high rim... More

My wife and hiked this trail today. It is simply beautiful. The trails are very well marked and is about a 3 mile loop from the parking lot. I would recommend this trail
