We researched this mine extensively before we traveled to it. Reviews were mixed so we decided to give it a shot. The native buckets (2) yielded nothing. The "salted" sapphire/ruby yielded a few nice sapphires. We found some neat stuff and we left it with...More

First and foremost, we would like to thank you for visiting us! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your time with us. The native buckets are always a hit or miss, we do not pre-sift any of our dirt so we do not guarantee them....More

We brought our daughter here as a surprise on her birthday during our multi-state road trip. We had so much fun that we came back again the next day! Both days we did sluicing and creeking. The creeking was a more time-consuming process but was...More

The mine is located a considerable ways off the beaten path but if you want to do something fun (especially for kids) it's a great trip. You can sluice with purchased buckets, sluice in the creek, dig your own buckets or do all three. Prices...More
