My husband and I are new to the area and thought this would be a great way to explore - WOW, it was delightful! Beauitful boat, amazing staff, captain and musician (David Kurley). We had a blast meeting others on the cruise, exploring the boat as it cruised around the beautiful lake and the dinner was delicious! They even served dessert afterward. I give this cruise an A+! We plan to do another cruise around the holidays. Thanks for offering such a fun activity in the Hickory area!

Very nice cruise, had a good time. Very knowledgeable captain. Food was good, service was great. Music was too loud and played the entire cruise. Music at the beginning and end of cruise would have been plenty. This was a Christmas cruise that advertised caroling. Very few Christmas songs were played and there was not any caroling.

This was a gift from my son for my husband and I. It was a great evening on the lake. The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I enjoyed the food it was surprisingly good. Having live music on board was a nice treat. For the money you can't beat it. We met some very nice people. Thanks to Lake Hickory Adventure for a very nice evening.

This cruise was very overpriced based on the amenities.
1) Food was awful, very cold and it made me & my sister sick for 2 days.
2)Social distancing was not practiced. The owner and his companion who was constantly walking around greeting people was not wearing a mask, along with other groups of people that decided to seat across from our table, along with the owner.
3) The nice lady that I booked this with stated that the walk to the dock was not long at all and I didn't need to rent a wheelchair for my dad. It was the worst experience trying to get him onboard and the LONG walk. Oh my goodness, I regret that we did this and what an embarrassment for him.
4) The young ladies was practically begging for tips which was a tasteless moment as we exited the boat.
5) With my 85 year old dad onboard was not a great idea for numerous of reasons. Prayerfully, we will overcome this episode and feel better.
6) We did enjoyed looking at the nice houses but that was all.
7) Not being bitter but very disappointed with the trip all together.
IT was surprise birthday celebration for my sister and it was DIASTER. I was told I could bring a cake onboard and they never bought it out. When we asked for it to take home since they did not bring it out after the meal, the cake was smoo and the writing on the cake was messed up.
Unfortunately, we will not be coming back so I am requesting a full refund our inconvenience.

Making sure you have a pleasant, comfortable time while you're aboard is important to us. We're sorry if that wasn't the case when you were here to celebrate your sister's birthday. To ensure everyone's safety, we do have protocols in place to enforce social distancing and more, but we regret if that wasn't apparent. We also apologize for any confusion regarding accessibility for your father and if our service could've been better overall. Hoping we can work this out when you call in to discuss this further.

My wife and I took a this dinner cruise for our anniversary. It’s ok. After going on other dinner cruises we have a pretty high bar. Food was ok. Basically takeout from a steak house. Ride was nice and great views. A lot of really nice homes. My biggest complaint. TOO MANY people. Especially for social distancing!! Very crowded. Even if not in a pandemic it would still be too crowded. If the number of guest were reduced this would be very pleasant.

We enjoyed having you aboard for your anniversary! Even though you enjoyed the views, we wish the same could've been said for our dinner. And as for the number of guests, we assure you we're taking all possible measures to be responsible and maintain proper social distancing. Kudos to Chad and his crew for a great cruise. We had a large business group looking to relax after some long meetings and this cruise fit the bill. We had a great meal and two hours of team building on the water. We would definitely recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I took the dinner cruise for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time. Captain Bob was very friendly, as was the rest of the crew. We had a god time with the live musicians. They were very interactive with the group. Everything about the cruise was very low key and just relaxing. Just what we wanted. Lots of jokes and laughs.

After warning the boat would take off promptly, and after we drove 2 hours to do so, it pulled away from the dock nearly 30 minutes late. This specific trip was to be a traditional Christmas meal with Turkey, Ham, traditional sides and dessert...and Christmas Carroling. What we got was Steak and Seafood - which could have been ok, but even that was not as advertised. Instead of the 6 GRILLEd shrimp (written in BOLD and shown in the photo) we got 2 cold shrimp with tails. No grilling, and not even any cocktail or tarter sauce. 2 plain cold shrimp. And, there was no singing. None. Not one. Not even the happy birthday I requested for my guest. Nothing. I was very disappointed to have have spent over $125 dollars and did not recieve one thing I signed up for. Zero. What a rip off.

Susan, I'm very disheartened to hear you had such a disappointing experience with us. We always want you to feel taken care of with accommodating customer service and receive the experience you were expecting. I apologize for the change in menu and the lack of caroling this time. We've been on the boat two times and both trips were very enjoyable. Nice relaxing cruise up and down Lake Hickory. The food isn't that great but they let you bring your own alcohol.

Hi, Thanks for asking. Tickets are $59 per person. Yes, you can bring your child, but the cruises are relatively adult. For example, most are celebrating anniversaries, date nights or other special events.. and many guests bring alcohol.
