Every detail of the home and furnishings are period. Most furnishings are original but some have been added but are period. Docent did an excellent job. The Craftsman home is just as nice but of a different period. Worth the money!!

This is a must see while visiting Hickory. The museum gives a great overview of interesting things that happened in Hickory and the house is an amazing architectural gem. Great tour guide and extremely reasonably priced!
