About
Ole Still Golf Club, formerly known as Rivercrest Golf Club, reopened in the spring of 2014 after undergoing a complete renovation and you will love the new look! The club has so much to offer including a semi-private 18-hole golf course designed by Karl Litten, one of the world’s top golf course architects. You’ll also find one of the foremost practice facilities in the region plus a clubhouse with facilities for meetings, outings or weddings. A full bar service is available. As a component of the renovation, Ole Still Golf Club chose to use Sunday Bermudagrass on our greens, making us the first and only golf course in North Carolina to do so.

I play this course often and it recently went threw a slump due to the greens keeper leaving. But now the course is looking better than it has in months. The greens are in the best shape than they have been all year.Cleaning up over grown areas off the fairways that have been neglected for a while. This course demands you to place your tee shots in the right place to access the greens. My only complaint is that they are making the greens smaller by not mowing the whole green. Overall the new greens keeper and crew are doing a outstanding job.

The course really needs some attention. They are trying with new sod on some greens but even that is looking rough. Very friendly people and an interesting layout but unless the owners are willing to put some money into the course, it will be not much more than a cheap alternative to other courses in the area. I hope it gets better because it really could be a fun course.

Course was in great shape in June! I liked the elevation changes/rolling hills, each hole was unique, and it was all for a great price (if you get the players card it's even less). I'd say the course was medium difficulty, but I had a lot of fun.

Lost most of greens this spring. Worked most back to decent shape then scalped their fairways with a mover set to two heights. All the hard work to bring this course to par has all been wasted in 4 months time. What a layout and location to waste by some shoddy greens keeper without a clue. I hope they find a new one or this course is TOAST.
