We’re not Vets BUT we loved the displays, history, local heroes and especially the aircraft. We were able to board a P 12 and had a personal tour of the plane, so very interesting! Staff was warm and friendly and very informative. Go see this (Free) hidden gem at the Hickory

We visited and loved it. The people who work and volunteer there are so nice and helpful. We learned so much and got to tour a plane. Plan on spending a couple hours or more to really cover the whole museum.
