About
Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards is a family-owned operation located in the heart of Henderson County's apple country. Nestled on 10 acres of a land grant from England are panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains that the family has enjoyed for generation, and now would like to share with you. The 14 varieties of wine-grape vines grown on the vineyards at elevations of 2,300 and 3,000 feet, along with the cool nights, develop some the best wine-producing grapes in the country. Meticulously growing our fruit allows us to incorporate the unique character of our vineyards into each bottle. Come to a place where you not only enjoy beautiful views with a glass of unforgettable wine, but become part of our family too!

Just Getting Started
Jun 2021 • Friends
The have a good variety and selection of wines to choose from. They provide indoor and heated covered outdoor seating. The decor and atmosphere was basic as if they were new to the wine tasting business (I.e.: not much parking or decorations), but the staff is very friendly and helpful.

What a wonderful e experience
Apr 2021
We had a wonderful wine tasting experience. The atmosphere was cozy and tastefully done for a family owned winery. We had the staffs choice tasting that was a thoughtful blend of white to red with a variety of tastes thoroughly described. We will be returning shortly

Wonderful wine in a lovely atmosphere
Mar 2021
This is our fourth time visiting Saint Paul Mountain Vineyard, a place we always thoroughly enjoy. We are about 2 hours from Hendersonville, so don't get here regularly. Whenever we do, however, St. Paul is a MUST visit.

The staff is so extremely friendly and accommodating. They stop by the table regularly to check on us and fulfill whatever need we may have. The wine is always very good and the portions are excellent.

When the weater is nice (it was slightly chilly on this visit, but we sat outside anyway!) we enjoy sitting outside on the large patio. The views of the vineyard are excellent. We also always enjoy the live music.

This is our absolute favorite winery in North Carolina. HIGHLY recommended!

Awesome Service! Great Winery!
Mar 2021 • Couples
With all this craziness going on they are being super safe and wonderful in there. Really doing a nice job and Alyssa was phenomenal. They will tell you if you call, for right now they are featuring flights, glasses, and bottles! Not your usual tasting, but, 3 - 1/2 pours for $10 is an amazing price! If you’re a sweet wine drinker you absolutely have to try their chocolate coffee dessert wine and their dry & sweet blackberry! Simply amazing

Wonderful dry and wet wines. Waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. Great atmosphere with live music. I enjoyed the “Chestnut Gap”. Did not like the dry Rosé but that may be preference. Had a cozy fireplace!

Beautiful winery and staff. Delicious wine and great conversation. A little cold today to sit outside but I imagine it would be pleasant when the temp is warmer.

Wonderful experience
Oct 2020
My daughter and I had such a wonderful experience. Our server was Dakota and he was great. They vineyard did an amazing job updating for COVID. There were a lot of socially distanced outdoor tables. They even put some between the rows of vines. We each got a flight of three wines to try. I loved my Sauvignon Blanc (sadly, don't remember the name). But, please do remember, this is not Napa. Just a pleasant late afternoon in a wonderful setting.
