About The Trolley Company - Historic Hendersonville Tour
We are proud to offer the first and original Historic Hendersonville Tour. (By the way, we also have a Wine Tour). This is our town and we would like to show you what makes it special. This is not a "dusty ole' dates" tour. Our 90 minute trolley tour is jammed packed with historical tidbits, oddities, appropriate reverence and pure fun. You will love the ole timey charm of the 85 year old Curb Market, the quiet solitude of the first Episcopal Church in Western North Carolina and the nostalgic Historic Train Station with its amazing model railroad exhibit. All Aboard!

Visited two wineries with the tour. Eva was our driver. She was excellent and gave us the history on wine in NC. Would definitely recommend!!!

This was a very pleasant experience. The bus was festively decorated, lovely Christmas music playing, and our guide was great and kept us all in the spirit. I only give 4 stars because they were about 15 minutes late picking us up and none of us who were waiting were quite sure we were in the right place until they showed up.

The Trolly Tour for the Winter Lights NC Arboretum was basically a shuttle to the arboretum. A little underwhelming that we had anticipated but it was still a good visit. The driver was very friendly and courteous. She had added some information regarding the person who recommended the Arboretum create a Winter Lights attraction. The drop off was for two and half hours to meander through the lights and get a snack. That was just a little too much time allowed (in our group's opinion). It also could be it was raining so we walked through the attraction faster than what would be the normal walk. The rep for the trolly tour did call us and ask if we wanted to exchange days (very courteous of the company!) but as we were only there for the weekend, that was the only night we had available. I did feel it was good value but could have shortened the drop off time by at least 30 min.

Because the winter lights online tickets were sold out for NC Arboretum, we had to visit during day time. While in the education center, the staff told us the option of visiting via the Trolley Company. I called and Eva explained how the process works. Ordered online and was able to enjoy the light show with the family. Just park at double tree (they had agreement with the hotel) and get on the bus, leave 6:15 and pick up at 8:30.

I recently rode on a shuttle, provided by The Trolley Company, to and from a wedding at Lake Toxaway. The driver was prompt and patiently waited for a few laggards to get on board. She drove very carefully and made a couple stops before delivering us to the venue. Then at the end of the night she made two trips back to the hotels. I was on the later trip and, again, she was safe and careful getting us back to the hotels. As things like Uber or Lyft haven't really arrived in WNC yet (and the cell coverage is so sparce that you might not be able to order a ride anyway), having a dependable, affordable service like this for weddings and other events is sorely needed. The bride's family provided the shuttles so I don't know the cost, but it was a GREAT service. And the Trolley Company had a really nice driver and a very clean, nice mini-bus. Apparently they have several vehicles of varying sizes.
