Great little place with a cool, funky vibe.

We had a friend who was in a show, so we thought we would check it out. Loved it. Small, intimate, and well laid out. Next to Pitt Street Brewery and Luna Pizza. Ford and Shep right across the street. In the heart of Greenvile's food scene.

Psylo Joe Performance
Jul 2019 • Couples
I have attended about a dozen or so performances at the Whirligig Stage over the past year, but the Psylo Joe performance this past Saturday (July 13th) has been the best to date. Really impressive how the lead guitarist can make the instrument do almost anything...the band's music reminds me quite a bit of the Robin Trower Bridge of Sighs album from several decades ago. My wife who is not quite the guitar fan that I am, also can't seem to quit talking about the concert. I will keep an eye out for future performances by the band and make a note of it to bring along some more guests next time.

Whirligig is such a cool place to go! There is always something to do/see/experience and the owners are very friendly and accommodating! We've seen many shows, attended comedy, improv, and karaoke and have enjoyed it all! Looking forward to more great events in the future!

Wonderful surprise!
Jul 2018 • Family
I was looking for something to do with my 7 year old grand daughter who was visiting from out of state, and I found this theater doing a production of James and the Giant Peach on the Greenville calendar. I did not know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the theater. It was a very professionally run operation and a very well done show. The whole experience, from start to finish, was top notch. The actors in the production ranged in age from 7 to 17, and it was obvious that they were well coached and the director, choreographer, and other people who worked on the play really knew what they were doing in training and teaching the cast. I cannot say enough good things about the Whirligig. I am also happy to see the redevelopment that is going on in that part of the city. By the way, just so anyone reading this knows, I am not associated with this organization or anyone in it. I highly recommend visiting them for their productions.
