Grove Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style...

Grove Winery specializes in growing and crafting exceptional European-style wines. The main estate vineyards, winery, event facilities and tasting room are located just 7 miles northeast of the Greensboro city limits in the the federally recognized Haw River Valley wine country, a short drive from anywhere in the Triad or Triangle. The sloping, mineral-rich estate vineyards feature wine grapes that thrive in this microclimate like Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, etc. Grapes are hand harvested and used for a limited production of 3000 cases of premium wine each year. The Grove tasting room is open noon-6pm daily for tasting, shopping or simply a glass of wine on our patio overlooking Lake Cabernet.

Customer service was fabulous. We enjoyed the Reds and paid extra to do a full tasting. I'm happy we did. They have nice reds for nc. Sat outside by the pond for a relaxing afternoon. Enjoyed every second.

This winery has some of the best wines in the area. The staff within are so friendly and knowledgeable! There are lots of extra activities done such as painting pictures while sipping your favorite beverage!!

This is a great winery to visit if you are in the northern part of central North Carolina. They have taken some "out of the box" thinking and turned it into a lengthy list of excellent wines. Prices range from $10 to almost $50. We each tasted 6 different wines and kind of cross shared so we actually tasted 12... More

Went there in a Sunday afternoon with our daughters and son in laws. Tried the food trucks (so so food). Had to wait to try some wines. Found a couple we liked. Purchased one bottle. Beware they charge $5 per person for the tasting. The had a duo performing music (can't say they were good). We enjoyed the sunny day... More

Enjoyable country drive from the Burke Manor Inn. Friendly staff, lots of activity. There was a live band playing outside on the weekend. Interesting assortment of wines to taste, not your typical NC winery. Free tasting if staying at Burke Manor.

We made the trip to Gibsonville (about an hour from our home) and although the drive there was lovely, with rolling hills and farmland, we were terribly disappointed when we arrived. There is no ambience here. Just a gravel parking lot and an open field with picnic tables..and no shade to sit in comfort. The only visible vineyard is a... More

Claire, Thank-you for taking the time to comment. I want to apologize for your bad experience and hope you will come out sometime and give us another try when the winery is not so busy. We do have food truck rodeos on the 2nd Sunday of each month and the winery is crowded on those days. We have 7 acres... More

My husband and I happened to notice a high rating (88) for two of Grove Winery's red wines (cab and merlot) in a local store. After checking out their website and learning a bit about this 10 year old vineyard, we decided to make *swing by* for a $5 dollar a head tasting. OK, we set off on an 1.5... More

We were visiting the Burke Manor Inn and drove to the Grove Winery. They have a nice tasting room and knowledgeable staff. Since we were staying at the Inn, we received our tasting for no charge; however we bought 4 bottles of wine and met some great folks at the tasting. A must visit when you are close by!

Thank Pam C
