About
At Conundrum Escapes, we specialize in an incredibly, fun, incredibly unique game experience that requires teamwork, creativity, and an appetite for adventure! From the moment you walk into our lab, you join our quest to help people in other worlds to solve their problem, or conundrum. You will "travel" to a room in another world where, working together, you must search for clues, solve puzzles and open locks to achieve an ultimate goal: escaping back to our world within one hour! Communication is KEY!! Teams must listen to each other and work together in order to escape, so our adventures are perfect for team-building, birthday parties, youth groups, co-worker get-togethers, date-nights, or for those who simply want something fun and affordable to do!

I took some kids here for an 11 year old's birthday party. We did the dungeon room. It was great fun. The only other escape room I had been in cost $65 per person, and while that production was beautiful, this one had far better puzzles and put their production money into some really cool effects / surprises that we all loved. Will definitely go back!

We've now completed all three rooms. They are fun, challenging and well thought out. We thought the spaceship room was the hardest, we missed escaping by seconds. Highly recommend that you check this place out if you like escape rooms.

Great night of fun!!!!! Very well thought out and extremely creative and very cool puzzles to decipher. Even had a bit of modern flair and a futuristic atmosphere. Will definitely go back and do some of the other rooms.

This was our second time doing an escape room, and we weren't disappointed. This room was a bit harder than the previous one we had done, but with a few hints, our group of three adults and four kids were able to figure it out with two minutes to spare. The host was really nice. And the clues were pretty clever. I will say that the facility could use a serious deep cleaning, but overall still a great experience.

My husband and I did the Airship Legacy room as part of a date day and it did not disappoint! He had never done one before and wasn’t sure if he’d enjoy it but he’s already told me he’s excited to go back to do the other room! Ali was so friendly and helpful and the room was awesome. Great decorations, interesting puzzles and effects and a really fun ending! We won the room with 29 seconds to spare. So much fun and highly recommend if you’re looking for a unique date with your spouse!

My 18 year old wanted to try escape room for his birthday gathering and they had an awesome time trying to solve puzzle to escape the room in 1 hour. They discovered how to use ancient manual type writer to solve puzzle. My husband & I overheard their conversation outside of the room "What's the heck this thing and how does it work???" LOL We'll be back again for more adventure with different room.

We really enjoyed the Adventure experience at Conundrum Escapes. The staff were friendly and helpful (we did need a couple of clues) that made the time fun.
We did the Airship Legacy and found the adventure itself was extremely well done and challenging. We will be back.

This was our (my wife and I) 12th puzzle room experience. We've done most of the ones around Raleigh and a few out of state. This is def a top contender for puzzle rooms in the area.
New "puzzle room" family-owned/run as of April 2017.
We beat the room with about 44 seconds left.
I'm going to say this is a definite recommend to both experienced puzzle-roomers and newcomers. We will definitely go back as others are opened.
The room we did (Airship Legacy) had an awesome steampunk feel / design.
It had some of THE most unique and challenging puzzles we've come across; as we progressed, I was just so impressed with how creative and interactive some of the solutions were. It made us "break" our standard-room mindset and think differently.
Staff is top-notch. We met the puzzle room design and room decorator/game master.
Overall, we have nothing but praise (which is why I'm writing a review).
For anyone planning to book a room, enjoy your experience!

My friends and I had a great time doing this escape room! We had been to a few already and this one is great compared to the others! Very intriguing puzzles and great mind bogglers. I can't wait for their next room! Go and see them, they are great folks.

That depends on your team! You have up to 60 minutes, but we've had teams to make it out in about 45 minutes. Most cut it close to the hour mark, though. We have had a couple teams that did not escape, but they had a great time anyway. Come see how fast you can escape and get bragging rights!
