This is one of the best beaches in the OBX. Shells are plentiful--you can observe coquinas or collect olives and scallops. The water is warm. The sand in the tide zone is firm enough for strolling. There's parking, showers, restrooms, and a wooden walk-over. Fantastic day.

Gorgeous beach! Gorgeous shells and not many people. Loved it! Warm waters, beautiful scenery. I would definitely check it out.

Plenty of space here, nice sandy beach with plenty of waves. There is plenty of space for frisbees or kites, and there is a long stretch of water that is < 4 feet deep for kids to swim in. During our stay, we weren't able to do much surfing / bodyboarding as the waves were coming in such quick succession... More

Love this beach, not too crowded, clean and beautiful. We stayed 3 hrs and was awesome. Love the sand dunes and a view of beautiful beach houses

I've been to many fine beaches over the years, not infrequently on the Atlantic coast. This one was great as a fun, clean, friendly, spacious place to come with friends and adult 'kids'. Plenty of waves to boogy board, play in a light surf, or just hang on the beach and read. Very nice.

This was not our first trip to the Outer Banks, but it was our first time in Frisco. We had previously stayed much farther north, in the Southern Shores area. The beach in Frisco is wonderful. We were there the third week of June and the water temperature was in the very high 70's! Plus it was far from crowded!... More

If you want to be seen, this might not be the place for you. It's lovely, quiet and kid-friendly. If you are lucky, there may be a sea turtle nest nearby. Our favorite time is low tide when hardly anyone is out on the beach.

Used the public beach access just south of town three times during our stay in June. The beach was not crowded and bathrooms well maintained. We will stay in this area again.

Every time my wife and I stay in Frisco we come to the beach access with the showers and bathroom and we are yet to be disappointed. This is a nice beach, but no lifeguard which is fine for us.
