Dont miss this park across from the Airborne Museum. The park is well laid out and the dog tag display really strikes home. Details history of conflict in NC.

This was a great experience. We found this by accident on our way out to Washington DC. I highly recommend this to everyone. I have never seen so many flags in one area before.

This is a quiet area across from the Airborne Museum. It's intention is to reflect and contemplate the service of our military veterans. We had a great time meeting Mr. Bill and learning from his experiences! He was patient with my kids and we would have stayed longer if not for lunch plans!! Take advantage of his knowledge and lots and lots of history that's here to learn!!!

A very nice tribute to NC veterans, stroll the unique outdoor exhibits or venture inside for a nice history of NC veterans from the revolution to today.

Across the street from the Airborne & Special Operations Museum. Wonderful sculptures using recycled parts of military equipment. The fountains and grounds were beautiful. The bronze hands were very cool. Take the time to cross the street, well worth it.

Later out very nice. The gentleman working there that day was very friendly and informative. Loved how they displayed the dog tags of the Fallen.
