The day I was there was 10 days after Hurricane Matthew struck the area. The inside visitors center was closed for repairs and was told that it had 6' of water inside during the storm. The outside park was amazing with poles from each county in NC and hands on them from military persons and supporters. There were also several... More

We took my In Laws during their visit to Fayetteville. My Father in Law is a Coast Guard veteran & my husband a Navy Veteran. It is truly breathtaking and a beautiful tribute to the men & women who have served our country in every branch. It is a great experience for everyone of every age!

It is amazing what they have done here. You get to stand underneath your branch of service like my husband and I did and take pictures. It is just awesome and I am amazed at what they have done here and the wall that has dog tags from every soldier to serve who is deceased.

This was an exceptional museum located near the Airborne & Special Ops Museum. I would advise those that are in the area to visit and you will not be disappointed.

We took our 'Combat Veterans' Support Group' from Catawba County to see this park and the Airborne and Special Operations Museum in Fayetteville, N. C. We so enjoyed walking around seeing the poles of hand prints from each county in N. C., each with four hands of people who work hard for the Veterans in their county. We also enjoyed... More

This place is unassuming from the outside, but an absolute gem! Once you enter the park itself the world is just a little different, the layout and displays are among the best designed and most beautiful I have ever visited. The selection of symbolism and inclusion of various aspects of what it means to be a veteran left me feeling... More

Wonderful place to Visit. The young lady working there was nothing short of a true professional, knowledgeable and most helpful. The grounds were just outstanding and beautifully maintained.

What a great tribute to the units and people who served hailing from the great state of North Carolina. It was nice to see some memories of my stint in the deserts of SWA.
