I haven't been to Baywood in years and the course has since closed and been re-opened under new management.

The course was in pretty terrible shape all around. Tee boxes were virtually indistinguishable from surrounding rough on some holes, fairways were littered with dead spots and divots, and the greens were patchy. I guess the bunkers were in pretty decent shape but that's not a big deal.

I figured new management would really try to revamp one of the few local courses around worth playing but there hasn't been much effort or maybe I just caught them in a bad period. I'll probably end up being back (and this might be why there's not much effort in the course appearance) because there's just a lack of decent public options in Fayetteville. Hopefully next time, it looks a bit better.

Been a while since I played my "home course" and I was not let down. The course still presents some challenging holes (tight strips to land drives) and a beautiful layout around beautiful homes. The golf carts are nearly new, pro shop personnel very nice. The grill is a cheap and tasty treat when you turn 9. Hot dogs are the bomb! The proshop is small but has the essential items on case you forgot something. Prices are nice with a military discount! Must play course in the Fayetteville region.

This course is load with water on this course and plenty of homes on the course your shot require some accuracy they offer veteran a veteran rate during the week it 24 dollars the only thing I did not like was the green had too many spot on the greens with many weed spot and not enough green. the green were too fast for a high handicapper.

This golf course is for sale. The owners are doing a bare bone job on course preparation. First, it needs water, desperately. The ground is very hard. Pitching is unavailable as the ground is concrete. The greens are not green. They are patchy and covered with ant hills. The cart paths are rough. This could be a very lovely course. Great trees and water hazards but even the sand in the traps is bad. Somebody buy this place and bring it to it's one beautiful condition.

I went to the pool first to find out if there is a fee that a non member could pay to allow two guest to swim. I explain to them that I live here in Baywood Subdivision for 2years and that I do not golf or get in public pools but I had a 10yr and a 16yr old that was visiting and wanted to swim. One person said yes they did offer daily passes and explained to me where to go to purchase them. when doing so then I was told they did not do that. My thing is that you should accomodate everyone that lives in that subdivision. If your facility is not making enough money to keep it open with just members then you need to revise your plan and to come up with other option, or maybe they are really trying to keep it private as he told me. I thought I live in a great place where the tone of my skin did not matter and more.

Though I wasn't the one golfing today, I still enjoyed the area, sights and lunch here. Very good cheeseburger enjoyed outside on the front porch on a sunny afternoon. Cheeseburger tasted like steak w/ sautéed onions on it; made a Saturday even more enjoyable!

To the person that said this stuff about the pool and tennis court being open to everyone. This IS a membership use only. It only costs 300.00 a year to be a social member. You and your guest's can then use our facilities. The club also has many events at the club house for all members free... Great food, entertainment and fun for the kids. The new owners are kind, wonderful and have been educated in everything GOLF. You've lived here for over 2 years and have this compliant because your company couldn't swim... Please, why don't you come to the next social and ask for Sandi B. and then join the community effort to help make us even better... Oh and WHY DO YOU FEEL LIKE YOU NEED TO USE (THE RACE CARD) because you felt like YOU were being denied because of the color of your skin.... PLEASE make your comments, We don't care who you are "in skin" we care who you are "in heart".. At least I gave you my name . If you want to complain, be man enough to make yourself known.. Anonymous writings hold no merit.

giving this a 1 is giving them to much, the course sucks. this course is not ready to be played on, This is March 31 2018, call before you go. there is No grass on fairways, the tee boxes look like a dog has been digging them up, there is goose crap and stuff on all the greens, plus full of po on greens as well, they've tried to clean them up but they do not care for them like they should. At the turn I mentioned top the guy at the desk, the owner, there was crap all over the greens he said, oh really? He has no idea what the course looks like and this is a Saturday, weather is great. traps are full of rocks, not pebbles, rocks. The practice tee has no grass, terrible. I am ashamed I can even tell you I spent money there. This course is usually ok, but it will take a few months to be ready for my money to go there again. Like I said call before you go.

Love this course. Now that I've played it a couple of times. Course knowledge is the key to shooting a good round here. The people who run it are some the nicest people you will ever encounter at a golf course private or public.. the course is is magnificent shape considering the dry summer we had..the food and beverages are good and reasonably priced....a Ten in my book
