We stumbled on this one and so glad we did! Such friendly people, knowledgeable and proud of their craft. The beers are very good and for a smaller place they have quite a nice variety to choose from!
I have to tell you though it's their kombucha that keeps me coming! It's amazing, maybe the best I've ever had!
This is a very family friendly place. Come as you are and enjoy hanging out.

i enjoy creative beer and turgua had a wonderful selection in a neat, funky atmosphere. they offered me tastes of every beer they had on tap (it think 8) before i selected one. a casual setting back in the woods, lawn chairs, tables.....perfect for a relaxing beer or more!!

Our family was staying in Fairview, so my father-in-law and I slipped away for a pint one afternoon. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the tiny 3-Barrel brewhouse tucked away on the side of a mountain, but it exceeded all expectations. Great beer—Phil was a microbiologist for years before turning to brewing, so he knows his stuff. Excellent setting, especially when the garage doors were open. Out of the way and worth the trip.

Service was great, beer was excellent, fun location , food from truck superb! Unfortunately, they have unisex bathrooms which ruined my experience and I won't waste my time returning. There's nothing more gross than when a woman has to use a public bathroom after a man, especially at a brewery of all places.

Small place, dog/kid friendly, northern California vibe. Bring your own folding chair for outdoor seating. The afternoon we were there they served hot dogs and had guitar player. Located out in the country at the end of a dirt road. I had the Firefly Golden Rye Ale, delicious. Like hanging out in someone’s backyard.

It is the garage building of a house, however, don't let that discourage you. The people and brew master are very nice and friendly. Yes, they accepted leashed well behaved pets. Most of the area is outside, not under cover, so it's a bit tight on a busy rainy night. They have several tasty beers and one cider! So that means there's something for everyone. Cheers!

My gps did not even find this place in Fairview, NC (near Asheville and Fletcher). I arrived on Sunday after it turned cool, so the porch was closed... leaving only four stools at the small bar and two lawn chairs off to the side. This is a tiny building with a small tasting bar in front of the brewing equipment. They will provide tastes, sell you flights, half or full draws, and also fill growlers (they will fill growlers from other breweries!). Decent collection and very tasty. It's really out of the way, but a nice stop to sit and relax.

Cool outdoor brewery with river access and a small beach. There were also goats. Made a fun night of it by visiting here and the Whistle Hop Brewery around the corner.
