Skip This One. We visited three tasting rooms this afternoon. Elkin was by far the worst. We couldn’t drink three of the reds because they tasted like bad vinegar. You couldn’t get any food because everything was ‘sold out’ including the bread. No crackers were served with the wine to cleanse your pallet. It felt like the wine tasting was an afterthought.

We went by last Saturday. The door was closed with a sign to please knock. We talked to someone who offered us a flight for tasting but she said they only had very dry wines so we didn’t participate. She did let us try a white at the door. She didn’t seem happy we were there. It looked like the patio was open if you did want a flight but the whole place was dark and uninviting. The front door looks like a castle or dungeon door. I understand covid restrictions but this wasn’t good customer service, especially compared to the other wineries we visited that day. It was not worth the drive.

Uninviting atmosphere and uninspiring wines. Shared a tasting. No sweets, only dry's. No description of the wines, no "bantor" with the server. Just pick your wines and go sit down. Wine served in shot glass sized plastic cups. Finished the wine, paid and left. Not impressed.

Went today for Father's Day and the pizza and wine are out of this world. Came home with a bottle of Soft Wine and a Cab. Great job handing all the pandemic requirements. Great outdoor venue and nice walk by the creek. Will definitely be back.

This is a beautiful property with friendly proprietors and interesting wines. Personally I give the property, the service and the Fire grilled pizza (Sunday only and you must pre-order) a 5 and I give the wine a 3...but that’s based on my palette so you should try for yourself. They do have a Vin Doux which is a port style wine that deserves a 5 if you are into port as an after dinner drink.

Pretty run down, not like the pics online. Should construct a less dangerous trail to river than washed out ditch behind deck. Food was good but wine terrible as it taste more like vinegar. Go to Divine Llama for better experience

We just had the pleasure of enjoying a special dinner at Elkin Creek Vineyard. The two couples who own Elkin Creek expanded their wine dinners beyond the usual with a try at Sushi and accompaniments...IT WAS TERRIFIC. Each of the five courses was paired with one of their wines, of course, but for this dinner they made their own Saki...a real treat!!! The five courses were each outstanding. Working from a small kitchen for a group of about 50, we were all fed in a timely manner with descriptive commentary to assist in this eating adventure. Hats off to the folks at Elkin Creek. We'll definitely be back...you're doing it all right!!

Came on the wine van. Unless we engaged, this was going to be disappointing. Here is your tasting, go outside. Our group did not sign up for that...we insisted on a description of the wines and their time. Beautiful creek.

A winery that we went to just for the pizza! Our server at Raffaldini winery recommended we go there for the pizza, so we drove over and arrived just before their 5:00 closing. It was worth the drive. The pizza is cooked in a wood-burning oven and was delicious. We got a two-topping pizza that we split and had 2 pieces left over for $19. Service was friendly.

Small and intimate venue for a wedding. Can be a little Challenging for the elderly to get down the hill to the wedding site in the sandy dirt . Golf carts were handy for that! The wine here isn’t good at all. I tasted a tiny shot of port, which was decent, but I couldn’t really get a glass of it . The food was meh at best, and lacking for a wedding . The barn was pretty at night with twinkle lights . Not sure if this was a budget thing or just how it is , but no champagne at A Wedding? A vineyard with terrible wine? Disappointed.
