    If you’re looking for something to do while in Elizabeth City NC, or the surrounding areas then Ghost Harbor Brewing is THE place to be! There are a few breweries in EC but this is the original. Located amongst quaint restaurants, boutiques and unique specialty shops, Ghost Harbor Brewing is always our ultimate destination for good beer, good times, and good, friends. The entire staff goes above and beyond in there efforts to make their customers feel welcome, that said our favorite “beer tender” is Samantha Craig. “Sam”always greets us with a smile, she is always helpful in providing you with suggestions on what may suit your tastes, and will openly suggest other local venues that may be of interest to you. She’s a ray of sunshine in sometimes what can be a cloudy world. So if you ever find yourself in Elizabeth City, find yourself at Ghost Harbor Brewing…you won’t regret it! Ask for Sam!

    This brewery has an awesome vibe and the beer is great!! Everyone that works at the brewery is very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. Sara and Sam are my favorites. They have been there since we first started going. ❤️🍺 Love the live music, music bingo, trivia and other special event nights.

Best brewery in EC!

Great beer, staff and music!

Our favorite brewery in town and a place we visit weekly. Sara, Emily, Joley and the rest of the staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the beer selection. There are nightly events like Trivia, Open Mic, MarioCart racing and lots of great, local, live music as well as a selection of board games to enjoy.
GHBC is family and pet-friendly and has access to Pailin’s Alley if you want to drink outside. Plenty of beer options spanning many varieties, not just IPA’s or dark beers, will satisfy any beer lover!

Top notch beer and worth the time and effort to go here. Really cool place with tables and outdoor seating in a funky little ally..
Bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. Good selection of styles too and ALL are good..Go here for beer.

We came here on a nice Sunday after church to have a beer.
Its pet friendly and the beer selection is very good.
We brought sandwiches and Sat outside.
They have seats inside and out.

Great addition to Elizabeth City. I went in to pick up some growlers for a Christmas party last year. The staff was friendly and offered us a sample to try them before we bought them and recommended different beers because we do not drink beer so we needed some help. We went during the daytime and people were in there with their kids as well. Sports were on the TVs. It isn't a huge place but big enough for Elizabeth City. Sit inside or outside.

Big city feel, great to sit outside

This brewery sits in Palin’s Alley, along with Hoppin’ John’s, and Coasters. It is a fun bar with inside and outside seating. Being outside is really pleasant. Food is not generally available, but Ghost Harbor is working with the other restaurants to provide food sometimes. This brewery and the other 2 restaurants are helping to revitalize downtown.

A find in the old city of Elizabeth City

It's been a few years since I took a chance in old Elizabeth City. Our recent tour gas shown a great number of improvements to the town. In a part of the city that at best was scary during the day, groups have reduced the old buildings and have created a haven of small restaurants and a brewery. Ghost Harbor is a fine example of a craft brewer. Well worth the stop with a good selection of types of brews and some interesting surprises. Well worth giving a try.

We had a great time drinking terrific craft Brew beers and ales. We were there for Halloween evening. Live band we enjoyed. Great atmosphere.
