About
Ocean Atlantic Rentals is the Outer Banks Rental Center! We rent bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, surfboards, baby items, beach umbrellas & chairs, linen, and over 80 other items. In 2017, we began offering street-legal golf cart LSV's which are a great way to explore Corolla. Our Event division rents party tents and wedding equipment. Delivery service is year-round, available from Corolla up into the 4x4 areas of Carova. Our Corolla store is open everyday of summer, and 5 days a week in the spring and fall. We also offer beach umbrella service, where we setup & take-down your beach equipment every day of your oceanfront vacation! For family fun at reasonable rates, please let us serve you this OBX vacation!

From the initial call to the daily service provided by Ben, customer service was awesome. They offer great pricing, great quality items (I saw some other set ups on the beach and there's were by far much better quality) and their communication daily letting us know the set up was complete was perfect. I would definitely recommend them and plan to use this service again. The bikes were ready and waiting upon our arrival and we had no reason to contact them throughout our stay. Very comfortable and straightforward to use! We even rented a child cart to tote beach gear to and from but only used it a handful of times... it was difficult to steer down the walkways because of the brick posts on the boardwalks and a simple basket on the bikes was generally enough room for our gear. It was so nice for lugging things to the beach (there was a parking lot very close to our beach). We had a wide range of ages with us from 10 months to 75 yrs so it just made things so much more convenient. You can also drive them around Corolla as long as the street speed limit isn’t over 35 mph (which is pretty much everywhere in Corolla) so we were able to grocery shop, souvenir shop, and go out for icecream as well without having to get in our truck. The golf cart was electric and came with its own charging cord. Great experience at pickup and drop off too!Hello hwhi0218 and THANK YOU for your 5 star review. They were so easy to work with and all the items we rented were in tip top condition. The golf cart was a huge hit for back and forth to the beach (house was on the sound) and then out touring around the town and quick store stops. I had missed the window of having our bikes ready and waiting for us when we arrived. I was so happy when on the Monday of our stay, I was able to rent the four adult bikes we needed. Even better, the bikes were delivered free of charge that afternoon. The process of renting was simple and the free delivery and pick up at the end of our stay was much appreciated. We were in Corolla Light from July 5 to the 12th and rented both a 6 man golf cart and 4 bikes from Ocean Atlantic Rentals. We needed 2 cribs & they had them on the doorstep when we arrived in Corolla. It was easy to rent, they were super responsive when we needed a change in our order & cribs were in great shape. Given this is their peak season & very busy, they were awesome.

We were recently on a two week vacation in Corolla and our granddaughter wanted to rent bikes for her birthday while we were there. We rented a 4-person golf cart and two bikes for the week. Thankful we rented the golf cart as it was super helpful getting back and forth to the beach. We had issues with the seat belt on the driver side of the golf cart not recoiling before we left the rental center, but they said it was fixed after looking at it, but it was not and never worked properly the whole week making it super difficult to buckle. The bikes were not comfortable as the seat slatted backwards and was strange to ride. I told staff when we returned everything, so they could fix for the next renters. No apology or anything from staff, just “oh okay”, I’ll take a look at it. Will try OBX Beach Toy Rental next time to see if equipment is better.

I'm sorry you encountered a few issues during your recent trip as we make every effort to ensure each rental experience is a great one. We're glad the golf cart rental proved to be super helpful with beach transportation.
Always remember, if you encounter any reason why you are not completely satisfied with your rental gear while in town please call us immediately so we can quickly come out to your home and fix the issue or replace the rental gear entirely. We want you to be able to use your rental gear to create great family fun under the sun.

The sound front home our family rented in Corolla did not have a gas grill (we prefer gas grilling over charcoal). Additionally, two of our group are used to using additional fans while they sleep. It's AWESOME that Ocean Atlantic Rentals had these items to suit our family's needs. Easy online rental portal and fair pricing. We'll be using Ocean Atlantic Rentals for our next Outer Banks vacation....and so should you!!

Excellent service. We loved that they delivered our bikes and picked them up from our rental property. It was easy to reserve our rentals online. Bikes were in good condition. We had a flat tire mid-week so we called and left a detailed message after hours. The tire was replaced the next morning! We will use Ocean Atlantic Rentals again on our next trip.

We are looking at planning a vacation for a family next July 22 through the 29th 2017. 15 adults nine children looking for one or preferably two houses on the ocean close to each other wondering what may be available and what amenities are nearby kayaking bicycle rentals restaurants hopefully close by within short driving distance or even walking distance

We have stores across the Outer Banks, and hope we can help you at Ocean Atlantic Rentals. We always do a 20% off online discount in January for folks who book items then.
