Seeing NASCAR Team garages were on our bucket list. You don't want to see these garages without Patrick's tour. From the first time we visited on the phone, he concentrated on providing us a tour to meet our interests and expectations. We saw 5 team garages and had a great visit to the Curb Museum. No way, we would have discovered that museum without him. Along the way, Patrick's own experience with NASCAR teams makes traveling from place to place worth every minute. His narrative added so much to the garage visits! Visiting them yourselves just would not have been the same. Patrick thanks for a terrific day!!

If you love NASCAR, or if you love someone who loves NASCAR, this tour is a must when you’re in the Charlotte area! From the very first time I contacted Patrick Bernall, he was very quick to respond and so helpful with planning our itinerary. He was prompt with picking us up and from the very beginning, it was clear how personable and knowledgeable he was. We visited Joe Gibbs Racing, JR Motorsports, and Team Penske Garages, as well as the Hendrick Museum. It was all just awesome! His knowledge of NASCAR made every stop a great learning experience and gave me a whole new appreciation for my husband’s favorite sport. I cannot recommend Garage Pass Shop Tours highly enough! You will love it!! 🏁

We flew in from Texas on a short 3 day mini vacation. These tours are a great opportunity to see behind the scenes of the race shops in action. We saw how the race cars come to life from the various stages of the raw chassis to the finished product and ready to go into the haulers. We did 2 tours with Patrick the 1st being the race shop tours, 2nd being the Richard Childress tour of his race shop complex and winery. We had a delicious lunch at the winery. You must try the pimento cheese dip with pork rinds…delicious! We sat out on the patio over looking the complex….very relaxing. The RCR vineyard is absolutely beautiful with its lush green rolling hills. It compares to Italy’s Tuscany vineyards, landscape and building architecture.
Patrick is a great guide who knows NASCAR. We didn’t have to worry about driving and finding all the race shop facilities on our own. These tours save you time by letting Patrick do all the driving for you. He took us on some back roads to the various shops that saved us precious time and were very scenic as well. He had several hidden treasures he shared with us along the way that made our 2 tours with him very meaningful.
We highly recommend these tours and would do them all over again.

We just finished a 2day tour with Patrick who was knowledgeable , friendly & tried to accommodate what you wanted to see. I think the Richard Childress tour of his shop, museum & winery are a must. We saw the car pit crew practice & we’re up front & close, they even came & talked to us. We ate at the winery which was delicious. We were even lucky enough to meet & get pictures with Austin Dillon. The first day we went to small & large shop tours & museums hard to mention them all but the Penske motor sports was amazing. You really get a feeling how friendly some are compared to others. One really cool thing we arrived at Stuart Haas Racing was closed because they were filming but just by chance a young up & coming race car driver Ryan Preece car #41 let us in . He couldn’t have been nicer. This tour is a must & well worth it.

This was an amazing experience for my 13 year old grandson who loves NASCAR and hopes to work for the organization one day! Patrick was a very knowledgeable guide and provided lots of "behind the scenes" details we never would have known if we had attempted to do these tours on our own. We were picked up at our hotel, and the whole experience made the trip easy. Even though I'm not a super fan like my grandson, I thoroughly enjoyed the locations we visited. If you are a NASCAR fan, I highly recommend Garage Pass Shop Tours!

We did a NASCAR Tour with Patrick Bernall. We were pleasantly surprised to spend a few hours with a gentleman who was both knowledgeable and informative. Patrick was not just courteous he answered our questions with NASCAR knowledge gathered from his years working on a pit crew and the many acquaintances he's made over the years. Overall nice guy and we had a great time.

We did the full tour on Tuesday after the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte. Wow, what an experience, made even better by our guide Patrick, who was a wealth of knowledge about all things NASCAR. Patrick ensured everything ran smoothly from pickup at our accommodation, right through to dropping us off again. Nothing was too much trouble for Patrick, even squeezing in a bound shop for us. I can highly recommend taking a tour with Garage Pass Shop Tours, you will not be disappointed. I should also mention that all the shops were very accommodating too, guiding us and answering all our questions. Also a special mention to Joe (Coach) Gibs for entertaining us, signing autographs and a special giveaway for us. Thanks so much to everyone involved.

Pat, our tour guide, was amazing. He was on pit crews for many years and now works with a vendor for the teams. This gives him great knowledge of everything and he knew people at all the garages. This gave us access and information that we would not have gotten by visiting the garages on our own. Patrick got us access to pit crew practices which was really cool. He also gets you a special discount at all the garage nascar gear shops. That saved us a fair amount too. We did the 6 shop tour and I can’t recommend it and Patrick more. My family really had a great time.

Amazing. Patrick was a fantastic tour guide. We did the full 6-shop tour and it was an incredible experience. You could drive from shop to shop yourself, but you'd be missing out on the history of the area, how it grew with NASCAR and then learning about each individual race car sitting in each individual shop's lobby and museum. He was a wealth of knowledge that was entertaining for the hardcore fan and educational for the more casual fan. 10/10 would recommend. We did a full NASCAR weekend in Charlotte - track tour, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Garage Pass - and Garage Pass was the highlight.

This is a must do if you want to see the race shops. Patrick Bernal was an excellent tour guide. He took us to several shops, gave a tour of each shop and we even ran into Coach Gibbs and he took the time to sign his book for each of us. There were 6 of us and a family of four joined us. Would highly recommend.

Does this tour go anywhere different that a visitor can not go? Like actually into the shop not just on the viewing platforms? If I only went to one facility would this tour show me more than doing it myself?

One more thing. Dale Jr.'s shop does have tours that are open to anyone you just need to check when. That tour went all of the way through the shop with time to ask questions. Without Patrick I don't think that we would have gotten the personal tour of Justin Hailey's Xfinity shop. That guy stopped working on shock absorbers and came over to Patrick. We spent about 30 minutes with this guy and it was just Patrick, my wife and I. We went into the shop where they were hanging the bodies on the chassis and he gave us an up close look at their pit box. Way cool stuff. Explained the carbon fiber bodies also.
