4 or 5 nights could be costly and your kids would be exhausted from the waterpark after a full day, you will be too. There's much more to do in the area. Suggestion: book 1 or 2 nights at the park, even after checkout, your family will have full access to all the features throughout the day. If you want to stay in the area, there's other options for hotel rooms. The dates of your vacation are after the major races so other places could cost less. In the Charlotte area, there's the Whitewater rafting experience, the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Concord Mills Mall, the Aquarium in the Mall, indoor go-cart racing, Carowinds Amusement Park and you're less than 2 hours away from Pisgah National Park in the NC mountains with hiking, waterfalls, biking and trout fishing.
