Good wine, lots of sweet options. No tasting fee, they also have a olive oil and balsamic bar to try a few things and little knickknacks. Always a pleasant stop and leave with some wine. The shop is there retail location they have tours of their vineyard you can take if your inclined.

My wife and I have been visiting wineries for years. Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida...if there is a winery on the way to or from somewhere or within driving distance we're there! While visiting the Outer Banks we did a side trip to this winery about 45 minutes west of OBX. The woman doing the tastings was fantastic, friendly... More

Since my wife and I have made it our passion to visit NC wineries and with nearly 70 visited to date we finally got a chance to visit some of the coastal vineyards & wineries! As a native North Carolinian and no stranger to muscadine/scuppernong grapes and wines I looked forward to this visit with anticipation, yet it was my... More

We have been visiting Vineyard on the Scuppernong for a few years now. The wines are always very good. The staff are always friendly and knowledgable. Last fall took their winery boat tour, and had a great time visiting the winery and vineyard. It has now become a ritual to do a tasting, buy a bottle and sit outside in... More

Fun little winery that did free tastings of ~10 wines, with many pretty good. Definitely check out the semi-dry catawba belle, which was quite good. Many sweeter offerings, muscadines, but also lots of wine grape + fruit juice blends - the tangerine + sav blanc was particularly interesting. Definitely worth a stop!

driving down the road and just happened to see the sign for this place and decided to stop...we started out by telling them we liked sweet wines (sometimes we get rude looks for this) but we were pleasantly greeted by the lady and she told us we had come to the right place and proceeded to let us taste all...
