The most fun, interactive 90-minute tour through Charlotte, NC! Guests can bring beer and wine on the bus, but no hard liquor or food is allowed. A comedian is your tour guide, putting a comedic spin on the sights, sounds, and history of Charlotte as we travel through Uptown and the cool-hip neighborhoods surrounding the city. We offer two versions of our tour: a PG-13 version on Sunday afternoon and our most popular R-rated version, designed for adults only and operates seven days a week. For safety reasons, babies and small children are not permitted on the bus. However, the bus is lots of fun for guests who have a good sense of humor and want to see the Queen City. Took the Fun Bus with a group of people from our Senior Active Community and had a great time. Our MC was very funny in a way as to not offend anyone or group. He kept us engaged with funny sayings, stories and comments. Would highly recommend this for someone who wants to do something different and fun.

I booked the Funny Bus as an activity for my out of town cousins. Roxanne was the best tour guide! She's hilarious and did a great job at not only providing historical facts about the city but making the tour interactive with the passengers. At no moment was it boring!

What a fun way to learn about the Queen City! JJ was a fantastic, engaging tour guide and really was a great host. I would highly recommend this experience to any new-comer to the city or bringing guests that are visiting out of town.

I received these tickets as a gift and the tour was ok, comedian had a couple funny lines but overall was not that funny. A lot of jokes about alcohol and drugs but just kept repeating them and cussing the whole time I don't mind either of these when they are used in way that is entertaining but just in abundance seems like she was trying to hard. She did share some interesting facts about the city which I enjoyed. I would say it was an average trip and would probably only recommend to people who want to see the city

Hello and I'm glad you heard and saw some interesting facts and places in the city. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the rated R Comedy part of the tour. Perhaps you would enjoy the PG-version a bit better next time.

Family of five with adult children visited midday on a Tuesday for some bday celebrations. FB was half full but still lively.
JJ was just awesome keeping us all going. Lots of straight-up humor, but what he said under his breath was freakin' hilarious. You needed to be sharp to keep up. A real showman. Also informative about the QC, but seriously just go for the party!

Advise the patrons that the "joke atmosphere" is NOT that of a comedy club. The comedian (unfortunately the term is not accurate) is not speaking about the economy, politics, a song that makes no sense, etc. she attempted to make fun of the patrons. Although clearly "R" rated, the person was vulgar not funny. There were a few laughs and more oooooo. The positives: the office/booking staff was pleasant and helpful with ticket purchase and the bus pick up location, the bus was prompt, clean and comfortable, the driver was helpful, pleasant and drove the bus with ease. There was a 20 minute stop for patrons to purchase chips, beverages, etc. and use the facilities. The site-seeing was limited as the sites was more driving through residential living. The bus did pass Panther Stadium, NASCAR Hall of Frame the African American Building and a theater building. Unfortunately, even if (only for analogy) a free trip was offered, I would decline the offer. The "funny" is the company has the patron's money and is laughing all the way to the bank!

Although you list many positives, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the comedy part of the trip. As we all know, comedy is relative and subjective. If you can't relate to what the comedian is giving jokes about ( economy, politics, a song) then you personally won't find it funny. Lucky for us , most of our patrons CAN relate and find it very funny. I'm sorry you did not agree with the majority of our guests.

JJ and April were great host!!! We did the Rated "R" tour. Had adult content but not terrible.
A lot of information given about the city, we visited some areas that we toured the following day!!! Great Times! I would recommend this for anyone!!

Tom and Dee were great. First Dee was very welcoming and a very good driver. Tom was one of the funniest comedians I've seen in some time. Very quick witted with the humor and knowledgeable about charlotte. I'm sorta old school so a few to many F bombs for my liking but like I said I'm old school and in my day you just didn't speak like that in mixed company. Today things are different and it is acceptable and between you and me it was funny as hell. Just could have used a few less in my book. That being said I highly recommend going on the FUNNY BUS and if you are lucky enough to have Dee as your driver and Tom as your guide and comedian you will have 90 minutes of laughter and fun you won't soon forget. I can't wait to go again with my daughter and her husband..
PS. Tom's work with the hearing impaired to me makes him extra special. Keep up the great work Tom

Thomas and Jamie were DA BOMB! Whenever I go to a new a city, I love to take a bus tour to get situated with the city. Though it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, I'd do this tour again and again. it was definitely the most memorable tour. My girlfriend and I are new to the Charlotte Area and we have some great memories already of the tour. We've been driving around town and take sips of water whenever we see a church now. This is a great tour to get situate with the city, if you want more history (the boring version) take a different tour or ask some questions to your tour guide. Thomas was willing to answer anything that was thrown his way. I'll definitely use my new coozie.

We had a blast on the Funny Bus. Thomas did a great job of intertwining fun facts and historic information into his comedy. Rita navigated the city expertly. Pack yourself a cooler and hop onboard. You will not regret it.

Hello! Where does the bus normally stop for a break? A brewery? Just wondering if there’s an area before or during to buy beer or if most people just bring coolers? We will be walking from our hotel!

Hello, you can bring a 17-18-19 year old teen on a rated R tour, but due to the nature of the jokes ( sex, drugs and rock n roll) a younger teen, even though they may have heard things like this before, may feel uncomfortable, or even make someone else who is there is to let loose and relax without their own kids, feel uncomfortable. We suggest bringing your younger teens on our PG-13 tour which is JUST as funny! PG-13 tours contain no sex jokes and no F bombs. The jokes are still meant for adults, the PG-13 tour is no Disney tour, thats for sure. Hope that helps. Thank you for asking.

Hello and sorry NO PETS ALLOWED. We love all kind of pets but the bus is not a great fit for them. Its crowded with loud music and not really ideal for our furry friends.

LOL, our goal is keep all our guests alive and laughing during the tour. We do not have A/C but there is a nice breeze when we are moving and our windows are open.

Our tours run 7 days a week and you can always check our direct website for ALL of our tour times. There are 3 pay to park lots, one pay to park covered garage and several metered stops on teh street all around our pick up location.
