My children gave this driving expect back in December for my birthday and scheduled it for March. The day was beautiful sunny, not too warm and little wind. After a 45 minute safety / training session we all went out to pit row, got our suits and helmets and waited in line for a chance to drive with a driver and drive by myself. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The following recommendations are provided to make your experience even more enjoyable: 1. Stretch your legs while waiting in line. This will make it easier to get into your racing car. 2. Fully understand the terminology the spotter will be using. This will help you know whether you should be driving low on the track, when to pass, when to pit etc. 3. Make sure the radio is loud enough and clear sound. Without hearing instructions from the pit crew and spotter you will be helpless, especially since the radio is a 1 way - there is no microphone like NASCAR drivers have. 4. Give your engine plenty of gas when you are starting out from a dead start otherwise you may stall out. 5. Make sure you helmet is tight otherwise the earphones may drop below your ears, then you won't hear instructions while driving. 6. There is no rear view mirror in the card so don't look for one. All your guidance will come through your earphones. 7. Have fun! Enjoy the experience!!!

The adventure of a lifetime. Ran 20 laps in a COT upgrade at Texas Motor Speedway, Fort Worth, Texas, on October 6, 2018. Interestingly, my race was booked for October 7, not October 6. I got there a day early. My bad. No problem for Tonya, she ran the checkin and video trailer in the pit. She worked me in. Scott did the briefing of the experienced and wanna-be first time racers (me). As a flight instructor, safety is always on top of any aviation operation. Scott’s attention to safety was comprehensive and impressive. When Scott got done with his briefing there was no doubt in my mind this was a first-class operation. JD took over in the pit. JD got me in my car, answered last minutes questions, and off I went. Other overall staff were outstanding. Plenty of professional, helpful folk to answer questions and help you gear up. Video was to die for. I’ll be back the next time RWRE comes to Texas Motor Speedway. Al Keegan

The staff from classroom to track were extremely personable and knowledgeable. I am definitely doing this again!! This was the experience of a lifetime. Id like to thank the Rusty Wallace team bc without their program I would have never been able to experience the Charlotte motor speed way first hand.

I bought a 6 lap package for my boyfriend for his 50th birthday. It ended up being held on Father's day. What an AMAZING surprise for him. I haven't seen him this excited in a long time, a day later and he is still talking about it. The staff was so nice and friendly despite the 100° day. I know they had to be so tired and hot, but they were all so happy to share his excitement and happiness. I recommend this very highly, it was such a great experience!! BOOGITY,BOOGITY, BOOGITY, Y'ALL!
