Upkeep going down; not filthy but not clean; one seat broken on inside of group of 5. Adult on each end of 3 children. On inside adult had to move due to broken chair and was unable to sit next to young child.

Overall good movie theater. The outside looked nice and well kept. Seats reclined and were comfy. The screen and audio were good. I was unimpressed with staff. On the line waiting to buy popcorn, everyone was in one line and moving forward alternating between the 2 staff guys whenever one of them became available, then one guy went out of view and the other one said "there are 2 lines" and immediately people that just arrived and were all the way in the back moved right in front of him. Since the rest of us civilized individuals were waiting in the middle, we were left waiting for the guy to come back a few minutes later. if you're going to split a line, make sure you let customer know that those that were already waiting in line should move to your side, otherwise leave it as is since it was working fine except for their slowness.

Visited this theater over the weekend. Very clean and altogether a great experience. I went on a weekend getaway a few years ago to the Ayrsley community. Stayed at the Hilton Garden which is the neighboring business to the Grand Cinema while visiting Carowinds and found the Ayrsley community to be very nice and inviting. My younger sister who also visited with my family actually moved to Colonial Grand at Ayrsley less than six months later. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, hotels and nightlife in this one area. Great place to stay and play.

Unbelievable that my son and his friend who were both 15 seeing guardians of the galaxy were told to leave DURING their movie . The reason they had to leave ????because they were not 18 . Policy which of course was not stated on fandango before I bought ticket is kids have to have a chaperone after 8:30 even though their movie started at 6:50pm. So needless to say we will never ever be back here . Total rip off . You would think in this climate of movie theaters going under they wouldn’t want to loose customers . I don’t care if there are some obnoxious teens that may cause problems. Kick them out . Not everyone . What a ridiculous policy .

Used to go to this theater quite often. Not so much since the pandemic. Took a grandson to see the latest Minions movie. Bad experience.
Large popcorn tasted like it was very old. No longer have the salt seasonings available.
Hot summer day with kids out of school and only about 13 people in the whole theater.
Nothing on the screen until 15 minutes after the stated movie start time.
Staff was pleasant.
I went to ask them why the screen was still not playing anything well after the movie starting time and I was told to wait a couple more minutes and come back if nothing came on. Pretty lame customer service if I need to keep them informed of things.
It did not help that this latest Minions movie was terrible. Totally lame story line.
Lastly, almost tripped on an extended lounge type seat that was broken in the back row. Dim lighting and a blocked aisle make for a tripping hazard.
It will be a long time before we return to this theater.

We have been coming to this theater for years. Maybe there has been a change in management. It was filthy, eveything is self serve which made the popcorn area a complete mess, and associates ignored us. Not sure if I can do it again. Attendance was really bad on a Saturday afternoon so maybe I'm not the only one.

The Cinema looks grand from the outside but inside needs renovation looks like a time warp to the 90s, seats were ok not really comfy but just add to the dated look, screen looks Good, sound could have been better, won't go to this cinema again

My daughter and I went here for one of the kids movies that they have during the summer. We got in for free and all I bought was a kiddie combo ($5ish). The theater itself was just average, nothing special.

This is our favorite theatre! Clean, and the chairs rock!, literally!! We like the area where it's located, we can have a meal and walk right over to a movie. Very nice atmosphere.

Living on the West side, we do not have a movie theater. Between Northlake and Arysley movie theaters, Arysley is where I choose to go. I like Arysley Grand Cinemas because the location is good and it is not packed like the one at Northlake or Concord Mills. Also, you don't have to park all the way to the back of a long parking lot either.
