Home of the Charlotte Hornets basketball! Beautiful stadium and exciting shenanigans throughout the game. If you’re a bb fan worth the visit.

Very rude Customer Service Sue
Nov 2020
I called several times, because every time I try to pay my bill with my credit card or bank card Spectrum Center payment system will not let me pay, so I spoken to Marcy 1st and she tried to help, and when she wasn't able, she gave me the next level, so I spoke to Michelle, and she was not able to help, but both of them was very nice and professional. I called back and reach someone name Susan, and she had the same trouble too. she said to me that that I keep pay with a check account, I told her that I shouldn't have to keep using the a check account when I am using the card from that account. Susan said what is the checking account number, I gave her and I said to her, that I know that you are not charging me the five for that payment, she said you know if a agent do it that you will be paying five dollars, I said why did you do it and didn't tell me that you was going to charge me, I said that I was told that I will not get charge. Susan start being very un-profession and rude, so I ask to speak to a manager and she had me on hold for awhile so she can tell Tim the supervise her untrue version of the story. Tim apologize and went to tell me about the five dollars fee, and to let me know that Marcy gave me a five courtesy fee wave around 11:29pm and that I will see it on the next bill, and they can just give one five dollars fee wave within 12 months. I let Tim know that I was still not satisfied how I was treated by Susan.

School Trip to Hornets Game
Mar 2020
My class and I had the opportunity to visit a Hornets game for a school sponsored trip. We were welcomed on the jumbo-tron during the game and also were escorted to the court after the game to take pictures. It was a great experience!

Spectrum Center worst imaginable venue for music
Mar 2020
Spectrum Center has speakers on the stage for performers so that if you are within range of the speakers, which I assume is at the floor level, you may be able to hear the words and the music.

Those of us in the second level who are above the speakers are destined to an evening of reverberation and hearing as if through a wall. We spent a fair amount on tickets to Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers. I'm sure they are wonderful artists, but tickets should not be sold on the second tier and above. You will not be able to hear the lyrics, the solo performances by the artists and you'll have an evening of bass beats that drown out everything else. There are a lot of other venues in town that support a better listening experience, but Spectrum is not one of them. Save your money, stay at home and listen to your Spotify playlist on your speakers and you'll have a more enjoyable evening.

That Spectrum Center sells tickets in spaces that are auditorially unacceptable, says to me that they place ticket sales over customer experience. Again, Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers are not at fault. I'm sure they're great singer songwriters.....we were excited to get to hear them. But I will not return to Spectrum Center for music. It's like listening to your neighbors having a party where all you can hear is the bass beat and none of the words.

Beautiful Arena but too big for the CIAA
Feb 2020
This is one of the best arenas in the country that I’ve been in in terms of layout and acoustics. But, I was there for the CIAA Tournament and only the lower bowl of seats was open, which was still more than adequate. This venue is just too big for this event. Nevertheless, I have to say that even looking up at the nose bleed seats was a bit scary and I can’t imagine how frightening the climb up or down would be, especially for an older person. Fortunately, I didn’t have to experience that, so my visit was extremely pleasant. Oh, and the staff here is just wonderful. Hard to find a nicer bunch of people.

Obviously busy on game night. Super arena and well organised. Plenty of police around to ensure safety.

Very well organized
Jan 2020
Tyler Perry Farewell to Madea. Experience was very good. The associates were very friendly, helpful, respectful and professional. We were in the H section of 102, these are not very good seats to see the show, because you have to look up at the screen to get a close look at the performers. However, still enjoyed the play so much. Love the fact there are drink holders, and the bathrooms were always clean. And, just a walk from the OMNI Hotel, Marriot, Holiday Inn, Ritz Carlton and many others.( Just consider all the construction) Suggest to park in the Bank of America parking deck, this puts right in the center of everything, EPIC, SPECTRUM, Colliseum, resturants, village walkway.

Will not return
Jan 2020 • Friends
Had a bad experience/unfortunate incident which is too long winded to type here...long story short, a representative contacted me to apologize for the treatment I received yet didn't do anything to remedy the situation, so I guess really not THAT sorry. The conversation accomplished nothing except to waste my breath and get me upset again. Get your act together Spectrum Center. Will not be returning nor do I recommend this venue.
